Punishment for Gold Buying- A response from Amazon Support

Its not. Simply selling mats and gears earn me 5-10k a day on ONE character. If you have 2-3 chars, you can make 100k easily lmao. Plenty of streamers sitting with more than 100k gold or equivalent blue crystals.

It’s infinetly cheaper to buy gold than pay for it, that’s why people buy gold. The real reason is the bots. Bots are the core issue, not the players. It’s same in every game.

What punishment do you want? They have a lot of accounts for coins. Do you think that’s possible? Don’t trust Amazon to ban robots because they put it off for a month when it should have been so simple. I don’t really trust Amazon to do anything about robots anyway. Even if it did, it would be a mild ban on very few robots. They knew the robot’s problem was the purple guidance task, but they turned a blind eye. So don’t get your hopes up.

It’s sad that there are people using bots that can auto cruise everything, but the devs can’t make a bot to track hundreds of thousands in gold transfers, or track people levelling at inhuman speeds.
Speaking for myself, I see no point/will not be buying anything from the shop until things improve, and that’s going to take some SERIOUS changes.

So people refunding founders packs because legit they couldnt use them cuz the launch queues and such or because they couldnt play on the headstart receiving a VAC BAN, meanwhile people buying thousang gold for a few bucks receive a 3 days suspension, still have the gold and if they do it 3 times, MAYBE, only maybe, they give a perma ban.

I don’t know what are you trying to do Amazon, but everyday I see you care less about these games. I remember you New World and how it went from 1M players to 30k because all your decisions was a disaster and the amount of exploits via market while you did nothing

I mean, isn’t that the way it should be? You saw the issues that were caused by immediately banning people that were mass reported in New World, right? They need proof, or the system get’s horribly abused…

Yes I agree 100% I’m not against that! Reports should be verified prior to perm banning.

What he wanted to say is that its impossible to generate that much Gold in this time on the normal way.
I believe there are 80% of all Player has Gold from RMT through More trades

1 day ban for 1st offense? Then they’ll just buy 10 million gold at once, knowing it’s only a 1 day ban… And what happens to the bought gold? It just stays there?

The solution is simple.

Remove the gold that’s proven to be bought, remove it entirely from the economy.

Prevent the player from using honing functions for 7 days on all of their characters.

Disable their trade for 7 days, but let them use the market.

They don’t even need to be banned, 1 day ban is completely meaningless. Who came up with these stupid punishments?

Well, I really hope you’re honing them with KR 7/7 patch. Otherwise it would take you 5 months to hone them to the point you want to :\

Gold buyers and sellers should both be perma banned instantly with no strike system period.

Change EAC, do something…fast as you can. Imagine a new player…game bot=insta quit. You are banning manually when you should just upgrade your software. It’s a shame…this ruined a lot.

thats a great idea considering the misinformation put out by customer support and the fact people spend 100’s-1000’s of $$ and hours in the game

So… you could buy 1000000 gold take a 24h break and then never have to worry about gold again… wtf!

its amazine how threads about false bans or other stuff get deleted.

but this still exists

look at all the people come in here, read the first post, think OMG HOW CAN IT BE?

and then proceed to take the risk because they feel like others do it and argos 1370 and stuff…
and then get perma ban
who would imagine a multi billion dollar company customer support to put out wrong information to the public? (unless you already dealt with AGS CS, now it seems 100% feasible)

wow … just wow…

not even an edit to the main post, besides the fact that he knows its misinformation.
He called it a 200IQ move to trick people with this misinformation and getting them perm banned.
