Yes … people from amazon manually going into the game ones a week for a few hours just to clean the servers from those guys that are stacked up with a bunch of characters…would at least work to an extend.
No, it wouldn’t. Bots have an active life in the game of only a few hours. They farm the story to a certain point, then transfer all the gold to a mule character which is then used to sell to others. The botters run multiple accounts at a time and after transferring their gold simply auto generate a new batch of new accounts to bot. Manually banning is a wasted effort and automatic detection and prevention needs to be put in place.
You sure they use new steam accounts? Wouldt it work to just delete the characters and create new ones?
But in that case… Shouldnt it be easy enough to track 30 characters moving the same coordiantes for hours with the same input? And how can speedhack and attackspeedhacks be an issue isnt this serversided? In WoW for example if you would try to change values like this you get insta banned… its not like its magic… this is stuff existing since decades…
yes they use mass generated unverified steam accounts. You can google and find the bot online in about 5 seconds. There you will find vids of how it functions as well.
And here’s me, did nothing wrong with a flat out perma ban
submit an appeal, I know 2-3 people who did and got their accounts back, many others were in fact caught cheating and did not. If you have them review your account and were found to be innocent you will get your account back like the few who were mistakenly banned did!
Yes waiting on the end result now…
Its in they asked for some things waiting on a human to check them I believe.

Bot start to wisper their messages instead of spamming in zone…
got damn they’re desperate…
btw I only saw this spam at the beginning around f2p launch… or are they just on realms without ques? I dont think I was able to block every single spammer tbh ![]()
May I know how much success chance per honing and craftmanship aura per tap?
Jokes aside, please kindly look into the market inflation due to mass bots farming the free gold quest rewards given at lower level!!
Ideally, you’d not put a guy in jail for life for buying a gram of blow, am I right?
nope, but if he bought a few kilos, I’d assume you’d take them away before releasing him from prison???
I saw them up to arthetine
Every mmo has gold sellers but making it harder to farm gold is how you end it or make it so expensive barely anyone buys it.
In the case of LA that would be done by being able to detect speed hacks.
You can already buy gold in this game. Whales are always going to buy gold. The problem is when people are literally teleporting to farm gold or lvl up.
If the speed hacks get removed they won’t have to ban anybody because 90% of the gold sellers will quit the game.
Also, it’s not just bots I’ve seen real players with speed hacks running around. Clearly leveling their main or alts.
After that they need a chat spam filter.
verified steam account requirements or a simple 2FA/phone# verification method would erase almost all bots
You are mistaken, the current T3 content doesn’t reward as much gold as it would with full T3 content, the economy is inflated due to the gold selling, it is not normal when you see the bot seller spamming in chat, it is not a secret a huge chunk of the player base already purchasing gold from them, you can read the numerous threads on Reddit, when you have so much gold pouring into the market that is when you see inflation, T3 content Abyss Dungeon rewards 600 to 700 gold per character per run, that if you have your main at 1340 and alts as well, also you are limited to 6 alts which can earn gold from these dungeons, so mathematically speaking even if you have 6 characters at 1340 you would be making 7K gold roughly a week just with that content providing you have 6 characters at 1340, which I don’t believe many do have, if you add the other methods it would be more of course, trade skills, Una task, selling engravings, chaos gates etc, but it is impossible when you see players with 100K gold and claim they did not purchase from a gold seller, I come from the RU server and I have my main at 1480, and 4 alts at 1415, and with all the content I was able to make 30 to 50k gold a week, would be way more with GvsG content, so don’t tell me players are making 100k gold with the current T3 please.
What are the downsides you see to people/ bots selling and buying gold. If you weren’t able to buy gold from the game store then I see how it could be game breaking. This is just a cheaper way for people rather than buying it from Amazon.
Fwiw, I haven’t bought gold myself nor do I plan to, but to each his own!
Plus the game is f2p, so ban them long enough and they just make a new account and repeat.
The problem is they take over general chat and no one else can read anything else because of these chat sellers and that is the major problem. People might be asking questions about if a boss has spawned or another question, but you will not see that when you have chat spammers taking over general chat.
The thing that this can easily happen with any publisher out there.
Maybe it is a bit worse for AGS published games then for others but in no way does this never happen with other publishers/developpers lets be real here for a second.
So report and block them, easy.
Also if anyone needs to ask when something spawns theyre just dumb, theres literal alerts for everything and random area bosses for the adventure tome have very short respawn times anyway.
