1 day ban for 1st offense? Then they’ll just buy 10 million gold at once, knowing it’s only a 1 day ban… And what happens to the bought gold? It just stays there?
The solution is simple.
Remove the gold that’s proven to be bought, remove it entirely from the economy.
Prevent the player from using honing functions for 7 days on all of their characters.
Disable their trade for 7 days, but let them use the market.
They don’t even need to be banned, 1 day ban is completely meaningless. Who came up with these stupid punishments?
Change EAC, do something…fast as you can. Imagine a new player…game bot=insta quit. You are banning manually when you should just upgrade your software. It’s a shame…this ruined a lot.

I didn’t create anything, people have been buying gold and would have bought gold regardless of whether i made this thread or if the ags support provided this info or not. I’m just bringing it to light in a flashy dramatic way to get more attention- it’s like clickbait if you will. Obviously I want more attention on the RMT and botting issue.

They are not banning manually that is the whole issue with their system, and the reason why thousands were wrongfully banned.
After a month of literally the worst customer service in the planet, the ban on my account due to a commerce lock was lifted. I had to request my private information from Amazon to find out the reason for the ban and jumped through more hoops than a dolphin at a water park show, to get my ban lifted.
I had to submit a lot of proof, including banking information to prove my innocence.
There’s a whole discord of people who were wrongfully banned, and barely after a month some of us had been successful and getting this bans lifted.
Hopefully now that AGS is under new leadership things will change.
that system never works cuz you would have to apply it to people the macro to get gold, bot, glitch, abuse system mechanics. You go after the botters and gold sellers. If the opportunity to buy bottled gold isn’t there then the only gold being sold would be expensive and not worth purchasing.
