So, i’ve been doing as told and verifying game file integrity several times since launch.
Have been enabling and disabling steam overlay, resetting steam, resetting the pc
Doing it all in order as recommended but still unable to purchase royal crystals.
I tried again a minute ago and the store just grays out and comes back to normal color and nothing happens. not even “Purchase Failed” error or any overlay popping up, nothing.
I got enough currency on steam and been trying to purchase the 12k royal crystal deal every day since day 1 with no succes. It’s been a while and its getting really annoying.
Verifying the integrity of files does nothing. If you look further above in this thread, that was one of the first suggestions for people to try, and it has never worked.
I am interested in this detail about a purchase limit, though. There’s actually a limit on the number of packs we can buy? If so, what is the limit?
that totally does nothing what so ever verifying game files ive been robed basically 40 pounds so far and got nothing for it back and no support perfectic it really is
It is still not working and i do not plan on restarting the game everytime i want to buy stuff cuz i dont want to wait 4 hours in queue. This issue is still ongoing and i have no clue how its not fixed yet
not working here. Just click buy, the background darkens a little and then blinks as if nothing happened. It doesn’t matter if I restart the game, restart the computer, launch with or without admin, etc.
Before I get a cookie-cutter response… yes, I’ve done file integrity… yes, I know how steam overlay works and how to set it up… no, your steam overlay is not working properly… yes, I know how to restart a computer… no, I’m not getting a ‘failed purchase’ - it just does what I stated in the second sentence of my post…
As a lot of players have suggested, why don’t you just add those packs to the Steam Store so we can buy them without having to deal with ‘in-game’ to ‘external’ interactions? Problem solved! Right now, you’re losing money because people can’t buy anything!
I’ve tried everything that was recommended, but I still cannot buy any of the royal crystal. I even reinstalled the game and still have a issue… please fix this asap!
Still a problem. Also, what is this “purchase limit” problem?
My friend can checkout for over $5000 in a single day, meanwhile I can’t do more than $1000 and my friend can’t do more than $500. How are you setting these?
I also have same problem. I suddenly start not able to purchase, i even did not spend that much. And if there is a limit, they should be clear about that.
It would be nice to be able to buy things from the store y’know…
I’m just sitting with money on steam from day 1 trying to buy Royal Crystals and still nothing.
Guys if you get Fail to Purchase message popping up, It is not a overlay issue or file issue!!! Please go through steam support and have them verify your cards and boom!! you can now buy crystals again! This will probably take 1 day!
Update: It only fixed it for few purchased and now the message is back “Fail to Purchase”. I asked steam if its a account restriction and they have responded and said it is the game issue, So, try to get your card verified with steam and see if it works for yall and if not we have to wait for the fix
I started having same “Purchase Failed” issue after making my first purchase. I’ve tried every possible fix i find across the forums, and still no luck.
For me my first purchase went flawlessly, but then my Lost Ark had an update and I tried buying crystals and keep getting ‘Purchase Failed’… after trying all Steam and Lost Ark troubleshooting options shared above - It Works Again!
I suggest putting money in your Steam wallet to pay…
Shut down Steam from Task Manager and restart Steam in Admin mode.
Right click Lost Ark, Properties, Local Files, Verify integrity of game files.
Steam dropdown window, Settings, In-Game, check both “Enable the Steam Overlay while in Game” AND “Use Desktop Game Theater…”
Should be all good, then Play Lost Ark. Worked for me. Good luck!!
I having the same issue on 15/03 bought royal crystal pack $85.00 and success.
Today on 16/03 try to buy royal crystal pack $212.00 and Purchase Failed.
I’ve done below and still encounter Purchase Failed in game store.
Steam verification checked.
Enable Steam Overlay while in-game.
Run steam as an administrator.
Issue still on going as I check on forum, try fasten the process to fix this issue.
same problem here… i bought the pack with 2200 crystals and i can’t buy anymore. none of the solutions I found on the forum helped. very frustrating…

I’m having the same damn issue. For curiosity sake, I’ve tried other purchases and NONE of them are working either. Pretty pissed off that I allocated funds and can’t use them… FIX THIS!!!
I had this problem, ran through all the solutions and nothing worked…
What got it working for me was to open a resource light game in steam and open the steam overlay in that game.
Then I loaded lost ark, made my purchase and closed the other game down.
Might have been a fluke, ive not tried buying anything since but maybe worth a shot.
Having the same issue however it has only just started happening yesterday I have been able to buy everything up until yesterday. I have tried every fix and nothing works. Ive bought ALOT of crystals and all of a sudden I’am getting the purchase failed message. It’s so frustrating because iam at item level 1368.33 and all I need is that last little bit of gold to boost me to 1370 so I can do the new content. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE fix this asap!!!
