Push immunity should be taken away from ranged classes in PvP

Yes gunslinger is OP.

But let’s look at another class, Hawkeye, they have their whole kit to escape, and full push immunity, but they dont do any damage, because they escape.

Gunslinger is broken because they have one of the easier combo to put, and one that do a lot of damage.

I don’t think the damage and combos are ever an issue in the game, even for classes like artillerist who can do like 70 % of your health with one combo. My big issue is that even if you get away and try to get the advantage, they have push immunity skills that last so long they can literally tank 2-3 of your skills to the face and not care at all about your existence.

Arti can do 70% of your life in one combo, yep, but that’s all, good on 1V1, but he dont have as much impact as gunslinger.

Because he’s slow, he’s slow, and got big cooldown.

Gunslinger is fast, can come in, control you, and escape, without anyone being able to hit him.

And yes, you are right, damage and combo CANT be the only thing, when we talk about a class, it’s OP because it’s a whole kit.
Gunslinger got the advantage of a melee, while being range, and this f*cking hard stagger is just too much.

Finally someone gets it! It’s like I’m fighting the berserker but with the range of the Hawkeye – it’s ridiculous. I’ve seen people complain about Deathblade and it’s true that deathblade is a top tier class but at least from a design standpoint the kit makes sense. The thing is strong but I can understand it’s kit and play around it. I cannot play around someone who has reach across the whole map but can also facetank me and combo me if I try to bring the battle to close range.

Well, the good thing with gunslinger, is that it’s still hard to play, i played like 600 games the 2 last week, and i’ve only seen a single gunslinger playing good.

Blade is OP too, and yeah the kit makes sense, because it’s potential is limited.

Striker is also top tier from my PoV, but just need waaaaaaay more skill.

Striker has nothing against classes with push immunity. His skills might be fast but a good player can predict an engagement and just push immune through it. I’m not saying Striker should get shoveled with push immunity though, but I definitely think one of his escape skills should have it just so he wouldn’t get destroyed by people just spamming skills to facetank.

Engage with hard cc that can’t be immuned with push immune…

You need a “I need to play better” mentality, not a “lol classes are imbalanced” mentality.

It’s clear to me YOU don’t know what push immune means.
Debuffs (freezes) go through push immunity. Those can only be immuned by spacebar/guardian tune 3rd tripod.

And this is exactly why you are struggling in pvp.

I play scrapper and paladin in pvp. I’m just going to throw my 2 cents in here cause I’ve done at minimum 40hrs of pvp so far. Gunslinger AND sorcs and Deathblade are bullshit in 1v1s :D.

GS too much channeled mobility that attacks in aoes. Makes it near impossible for melee to do anything.

Sorc is bullshit vs melee cause of there range combined with the ability to self cast aoe on themselves whenever melee is coming in. Which wouldn’t be so bad if their spells didn’t outlast almost ever super armor in the game XD.

Deathblade just has super armor for days which wouldn’t be sooo bad if they didn’t have so much more mobility and damage to go with it

You should research your class and what stuns are in this game. I play Striker and they can stun. I’m not here to teach you so don’t ask me for details.

There is a difference between having 1 push immunity skill on a meele class lasting 0.3s and 4 on a ranged lasting for 3 seconds :^)

Some folks think that if a streamer says something they like to hear it must be true and if they can’t do it, then something is broken.

Typically the issue is that person complaining just doesn’t know enough about the game mechanics.

Oh I am fully aware of how freeze works, I’m just struggling to see why you would think that the freeze engage on striker can work when you’re push immune, cause it has no paralysis immunity, meaning that you can get taken out of it very easily by damage. When the push immune skills that are a problem are the ones that do damage all around you, you literally can’t use the freeze for it’s intended purpose.

What do you mean they can stun? There is no STUN in the entire striker kit. Striker can freeze but good luck pulling that off when you need it compared to other classes like deathblade’s actual STUN and scrapper’s STUN, which are instant skills.

I don’t mind there push immunity as much as their uptime on their pistol skills. I think if you add a bigger cooldown then it will make them vulnerable and more punishable.

Gunslingers have four sources of push immunity: 2 in pistol form, 1 in shotgun, 1 in rifle. Both rifle and shotgun are super long channeling skills.

Strikers performed well in the most recent KR tourney, and frankly completely shut down the opponent’s Gunslinger. So I dunno what you tell you but get better
