Push to 1475+ or alts to 1415

This is a “wrong” viewpoint of progression in my opinion.

In my opinion, the value of 1445 opens up relic slots and Argos carries. This value increases even further when your alts progress as much as possible without harming your main.

That is why getting to 1415 for tripods, and earning relic materials is the goal to earn that potential. We can argue it will take a while to gather relic and honing materials at 1430 a lot of alts will stay at this range for a while. In an ideal scenario, you want to keep it progressing… you want access to actual progression values like Tripods, Relics eventually ancients.

It is the same when Argos was around or Valtan scenarios when the “best parking spot” GHL wise was at 1370.

  1. he is right regarding 1430 as the first sweet spot for alts, as the costs/earnings ratio is really good and your roi/bep is achieved fast

  2. on the other hand, his argument regarding 1430 to 1445:

  • he is saying before, that if you dont wanna quit the game in the next months, then honing from 1415 to 1430 is ok - but from 1430 to 1445 it is not, because it takes over 19 weeks. so he is assuming that ppl will quit the game before week 19?

  • how he calculated the costs? when i did my alts, i went with 16/16/17/17/16/12 for 1430 as it is the cheapest method (dps/supp have different 17sh slots) and +12 weap is even for dps alt enough, as it is about the whole gain of stats and more than enough for an alt as it is only valtan and vykas nm.

so if upgrading to 1445 further,

i came up with this:

including costs for oreha stone, its 19K gold. you get 1200 gold more doing valtan hm on 1445. so its 15,9 weeks and not over 19. if i did some calcs wrong then plz correct me:p i only mentioned bound mats (so costs only for oreha), because the direct benefit (= raw gold income) from 1445 is smaller than from 1430.

i think, after few calculations and speaking with others- first get your alts to 1430, then slowly to 1445 with bound mats only, as like others said, it opens the possibility for relic gear in chaos dungeon and so on

Folks,
Whether the consensus is 1415, 1430, 1445 to park alts… Does time and ability to complete Valtan and/or vykas on each of these alts factor into your suggestions?

Reality is that it does take considerably more time (and effort) to find or create a group using party finder for either of these raids. And it does take considerably longer to complete the raids, even with one shotting all bosses. Thats assuming best case scenario. All this vs quick matchmaking in oreha HM and done in 15-20 minutes tops.

I suppose the factor to add to this conversation is that Im 38 (sadly best gaming days are behidn me haha!) family, career. Amazingly I can put in ~3 hours a day on average but that time is in bits depending on whats going on at work (I work from home) or whats going on at home. So finding a good 1-1.5 hour chunk to complete a valtan run (with party finder time in consideration) is often…difficult.

Basically, even if I park alts at 15/30/45…but only complete Valtan NM on maybe two or three characters a week, but obviously able to run the 15/45 chaos and guardians… would it still be a net positive in gold and material acquisition? Vs leaving alts around 1400 and pushing oreha HM for gold?

thoughts?

i also thought about the factor time, especially when pushing to 1430 and doing vykas via grp finder, as the raid was fresh in the last weeks. therefore i didnt rush to 1430 and since last two weeks the alt runs are smooth enough.

to your question about the time factor- the more alts you have at 1430 the more gold income you will have, but youre right, 1370 and oreha 2x + argos p1 (or p3 bus) is faster.

but- gold is the most important mats imho- so the priority should be to farm as much gold as possible. you can do chaosdungeon, una’s and also guardian raid with rested bonus if youre not having enough time.

so for example- clear the gold raids first, then do the rest with rested bonus (if poss, una’s task daily w/o rested)

Push to 1475 and push alts to 1445 for the ones you like playing and keep the others at 1370.

Main 1475 and then work on raising your alts to 1415 first, then for long term ur goal will be having alts at 1445 and then push your second / third mains up to the content you want to enter

im doing 1430. If they have enough mates for full relic sets, i go push them to 1445. But they will stay there for a while.

I believe we can’t just take this question into “gold per week”.
Each player has their own way and method of playing, some have more time, others less time, if you play with a group of people or if you play alone. All this must be considered!
In my case, I’m a solo player, I don’t have time to find and teaching ppl for Valtan/Vykas, so for me it worked very well to leave my main 1475 and take all my 5 alts to 1400 (easy oreha HM and Argos up to P3)
This way i save gold (engravings and accessories) and materials for my main

I believe that if you have enough time to play or if you play with a group of people to exchange valtan/vykas bus the best thing to do is to put all your alts 1415.

Man y’all are wild and play way more than most of us. Bring your alts to 1400 and main to 1505. At that point get ur legendary books and gems to lvl 8 or quit until new content. Doing Valtan NM 5x a week sounds terrible to me personally unless you have a static. Argos and Oreha is already to time consuming on top of all the other maintenance. But bringing alts to 1460? Like what? Why….

Valtan and Vykas make more fun then Argos for me so i would like to have 5 alts at 1430 or 1445 just to have more fun in week but i dont had the time to play earlier more alts so they go very slow up.

I agree they are more but the the community is not fun so that’s a hard pass for me…

Dont know i have my guild they all have plenty 1415 alts or 1430. Only sometimes i need to go to a group without them but i play Pala and Bard as Alts so its Kinda easy to get in groups xD

Valtan is fun. For me and a raid, its a nice balance of decent mechanics, visuals, and length of time.

Vykas is just outright long and annoying and I really dont find the raid fun at all. I dread vykas raid nights every week because I know it has the potential to be stuuuupidly long if people are having an off night (myself included). Factor in HM, sigh. I hate vykas but I need 28 more freakin wings.

sweet spot for alts is 1445 for now. No reason to go higher.

sweet spot for main is 1505. After, it is swiping time.

I feel 1480 is still reasonable?

1505 is the recommended non-swiping level since its +21 across. It costs 3 times as much to go from +21 to +22 as it did getting +21. +21 also gains 15 free ilvls when you upgrade to the artifact gear (it goes to 1520/+13) vs +22 (1520) only gaining 10 free ilvls (goes to 1530/+14). However it DOES mean you will not be able to to run Gates 5 and 6 Bralshaza as both of those require 1520 level. You will only be able to get 1 artifact piece on the week if you only do Gates 1-4. Adding Gates 5 and 6 would let you afford a 2nd Artifact piece that week.

Do we even know when we will get Brelshaza? We still don’t have Kakul…

Kuku is end of september. Bralshaza is estimated to be around early-mid December (roughly 2-2.5mo) basing on other servers release.

By no means we know for sure. Could just as easily come in the Oct patch or be pushed back into Janruary/Feb. I more expect it to be pushed into Jan since it seems that it will line up with a class launch which following the 2mo schedule, its September, November then January so a Early Jan launch of Bralshaza could be a thing.
