So with the new season, pvp shop will reset.
That is absolutely horrible design and it should not happen, as that will result in Tons of people that will stop playing pvp.
Why ? Because to get to high rank in pvp shop, it took Months just to get to decent rank where pvp shop gives some Decent rewards. Until that time, you basically dont get Anything from pvp.
It was fine when game started, but now that everyone has daily and weekly stuff to do, it just isn´t worth putting so much time again to grind just to open a pvp shop. Not to mention that the fewer people play, the harder it is to obtain points ( and the hype of released game is of course no longer there, thus fewer people playing pvp). And if shop resets, it will be even that much fewer people participating in it.
The way it is, it´s like if your gear score would reset whenever new raid would release - that wouldn´t be very cool.
Either way, please do not reset pvp shop. It makes absolutely no sense to do that.
When game just started, it was no problem.
But now, due to fewer people playing, and having so much activities to do that are so much more worthwhile, and because grind to get to pvp shop will be much more harder - many people won´t even bother doing that.
Thus please, save us before it is too late. Resetting pvp shops helps nobody and will only decrease people´s interest in pvp. @Roxx@Centeotl

So i assume it will be best to save up some points and use them on weekly leapstones so u dont have to farm, until next season starts : )
This still stands. Majority of pvp players play pvp because its benefical for pve.
However if they reset shop, it will just not be worth climbing back up, not to mention now that player base is smaller than it was on release, climbing will be Hell and simply wont be worth it.
Its like if you would reset gear score every time new raid gets released - nobody would bother climbing back up.
@Roxx could i ask to relay it ? Because if pvp shop gets resetted, i dare to say - almost nobody will play pvp apart hard pvp enjoyers, for there simply wont be any tangible benefits to it.
If the shop gets resetted, my guess is that if you look at how many people played at the end of pvp season, with new season - there will be about 10% -15% of what it was at the end of season 1, that is my guess.
Resetting shop will be of benefit to nobody, only harmful to pretty much anyone.
There will be still a minority who climb the competitive rank to get 3000 BC reward at the end of th season. on SA it’s worth around 160~180k gold and around 70k+. This also include thousand gold worth of mat from weekly rank maintence so people will do the normal pvp .
There will still be the PVP community which will be small especially now that people gonna do more leegion raid and have even less time for pvp weeklis. Also more people will look to replace their pvp with island pvp for points. It’s natural progression.
Yes, and most people that climb there did it first month and then basically stopped playing.
The issue is that shop was very hard to unlock and the mats were decent cause game was fresh, but now the mats are Nothing special and you might have to put in 3x more time to unlock it.
