Why would I bother with Valtan for the same money? What do I need tripods for? It’s an alt - existing to make money ONLY. I made a post with hard numbers - 0 investment/2h a week/ nearly 20k weekly income. If you came with a better idea, sure give me numbers to compare. ‘in my opinion’ is nowhere better than ‘trust me bro’.
And please, spare me with ‘you may drop bis accessory and sell it for millions’. I’d also might get orange gold bar every time I trade una tokens for chests, but I never did.
My main is already 1505 as a f2p and pushing further is a total waste of gold, so i will be pushing my alts to 1472.5 as then i can do duo argos buses and 4 man hard valtan buses for additional income+ i don’t have to do clown at that item level. ( 1460-1472.5 and 1475-1487.5 income is literally the same but you MUST do clown for it to actually be the same and clown will be a absolute pain to do with pugs especially in first 2-3 weeks). It’s also really important to have as many alts as possible at 1490 because brelshaza mats are going to be worth a lot of $$$. So even if you are not into busing then pushing some alts to 1490 is not a bad idea.
I don’t know what solid number you want. I gave you concepts why you want to push your alts off 1400. 10% Event Books and they haul in bound mats primarily GHLs and the cost of Destruction and Guardian stones is cheap. I dont know what figures you want.
Again from my experience you want your alts to progress as a much as possible to have more access to gold, honing mats etc all the way to 1500+. Settling to 1400 when you are actually farming bound mats primarily GHLs and not utilizing them with your progression is hampering it.
When you see the amount of gold necessary to tap the next gear progression. You will need a lot of Argos…
I get your idea, sure but honing is costly stuff to do, especially if you plan to push your alts way higher than 1415. You also have to gear them up and the higher they get the longer it takes for your investment to return. My way is cheap as hell, so I get my bonus gold in week one. And since it’s a flat gold, my income is easy to estimate. No matter if that’s Brelshaza or Akkan, I always get my 19k gold.
And those guys trying to push their alts to 1490 presumably spending 200k gold on it, well they probably stop playing before that investment starts to pay up…
tl:dr as far as I’m concerned this is the best cost / time / profit value unless somebody proofs me otherwise.
if u sit Alts at 1400 u have 2000 gold from Oreha and maybe 2400 from a p3 Argos not really no fucking one wants 1400gs. if u hit 1415 u lose Oreha gain 2400 from Argos and try to join a normal Valtan and get another 2000 gold not really there are no more normal Valtan runs it’s like finding a unicorn hit 1430 same as 1415 u ether go for 1415 or 1445 no in between. I feel stuck not being able to make the most gold to be able to progress at a steady pace with main and Alts.
I’m personally pushing myself to get Legendary Grudge done before anything else, it’s way too useful for my 10-character roster (with only 2 supports, no duplicates).
What exactly are the most costly items for honing?
You get around 60 per day totally automated BOUND Fusion mats if you are not working on lifeskills. Around 90 on a weekly timeline. On average 450 Fusion mats per week if you set your farms. Edit: It might be lower depending on your Stronghold lvl.
Around 400 Bound GHLs per week
I don’t know how much bound Guardian/Destruction. PvP and Dungeons…
Guardian stones in NA - W are 2 gold each
Destruction are around 19g.
Adding event books (even cheap books you get from raids), bound mats giveaways, and Fused Leapstones for alts to use.
I got 5x 1445 more than half are a full relic, fixed tripods and slowly getting accessories off them 4/3. I need around 4 weeks to complete the relic sets. Also, a 1460 has enough bound mats to jump to 1475 or even to 1490.
Now if you are confined to another value we Humans call it time then yeah with costs of honing mats going down. It is actually much better to do one solid Legion Raids and make up for the costs of running multiple chaos dungeons. Since your chaos dungeons actually gives you rested… ez progression.
200k is an exaggerated value… unless you are counting bound mats that your alts “naturally” produce. You are right if that is the case. The only things you worry about are the actual gold and even silver for taps. Maybe shards, destruction/guardians if you are not active with your alts. Also don’t rage hone.
I have a post here regarding my Budget Build if you are interested in looking at my alts. But hope this helps your progression.
No it aint. What do you gain at 1400 that you dont get at 1370/1385.
I’ll give gold approx for cost:
1370 → 1385 = Cost is 26k - Gain 900 from Argos P2, Gain Legendary Drops from CDs.
1385 → 1400 = Cost is 42k - Gain 1000 from Argos P3, Very slight boost to Legendary Drops in CD.
1400 → 1415 = Cost is 60k - Gain 3300 from Valtan, Lose 2100 from Oreha Hard (Net 1200), Gain Access to Relic Tripods, Relic Drops from Valtan, Deskaluda Fight and its Relic Drops, Start earning materials for Relic Set. Free hones from Fused Leaps.
1415 → 1430 = Cost is 53k - Gain 3300 from Vykas, Additional Relic Drops from Vyaks and Earning the Other relic materials for Relic Set. Additional free hones from Fused Leaps.
1430 → 1445 = Cost is 58k - Gain 1200 additional from Valtan HM. Gain Access to relic equipment, Relic Acc drops in CD.
1445 → 1460 = Cost is 106k - Gain 1200 additional from Vyakas HM, Access to Turtle.
1460 → 1475 = Cost is 120k - Gain 4500 from Kuku, Lose 2700 from Argo (Net 1800), Additional Relic drops from CDs. (Kuku’s gold value is unknown)
1400 has been shown to actually be a pretty poor parking spot. If you can’t push all the way to 1415, stay at 1385/1370
This is the reason why I’m not that eager to push my Alts to 1460. Unless you got a decent static this value is really hard to extract pure no stress income.
Same, Honestly I compare the 1460 spot the same boat at the 1400 spot. Doesn’t really get much and is more the stepping stone to the next. 1475 is pretty decent wtih 1490 being the ultimate goal.
I’ll add kuku but were not sure on his gold reward, ill put it at 4500.
Thats how it looks like for me rn. Today i got my Bard to 1430 next step is to get the other Alts all to 1400 step by step. Then starting with Shadowhunter to 1415.
Push alts to 1430, let the fused leaps do the work to 1445 for you while you gather the materials for the relics. If by the time you have all the relic materials and not pushed yet, finish the push to 1445 and stop there and only hone with the fused leaps and bound mats until your main is super ready at like 1520.
Hell if you wanted to make it simple, just run normal valtan with the 1445. HM doesn’t give “that” much more mats really and 1445’s generally will get easy invites to normal valtan even at lower engraving levels like 4x3 legendary. HM’s really start wanting you to have full relic and players judging 5x3s. As your lvl goes above the minimum, players start overlooking your gear a little more. Much more chill for yourself too since your 30 ilvl higher then valtan instead of at level in HM.
Ya not sure on the crowd for 1445 HM valtans since I have a group that runs it on my dps alt and my bard alt is a support, insta group :P. Just was saying you could run normal valtan and be pretty chill and generaly get into most groups due to being 1445.
That’s true, 1385 is fine. I pushed a bit higher to not get oneshoted at Argos G2/G3. No fun watching the fight from the floor. But yeah it’s not necessary, good point.
Honestly that purple accessory is a red flag. I’m not picky with engravings so I very rarely reject for things like this but purple necklace on a 1430 character? What? It almost looks like you’re trolling for fun.
Agree, if I see an Epic Neck at Vykas it’s a little bit concerning. You can get close to 1600 Spec with a high quality Relic Neck, 2 Earrings, and 2 Legendary Rings. So at this point the gap is ~180 Crit, ~380 Spec lost (ofc most important for Blue GL), lower Vitality. Wouldn’t take this character unless it was Tuesday before reset.
people seem to understimate time. Having the Relic sets available to you make your deskaluda from 5 mins to 3 mins. Literally go to 1445 and save shit loads of time.
I mentioned with TIME is the real value to consider and it looks like AGS is trying to meet its QFR’s (Quarterly Financial Report) deadlines.
Argos - March QFR date: March 30th
Vykas - June 30 QFR date: July 30th
Clown - September? QFR deadline: September 30th
Brelshaza - December? QFR deadline: December 30th
The only separated real value will be Holidays (Summer / Winter vacations but it exactly lands on those dates). Black Friday, the last week of November. I can assume before Brelshaza will have another pass similar to Punika Pass (more likely free) around that date. Also with how they stack events, I assume we will have more events that induce more free-bound mats. December one will be more likely huge to entice new and returning players. Also, a lot of people are more frivolous with spending during the holidays since they account for the end-of-the-year bonus, etc.
Of course, they can always delay but that often leads to people getting fired or stepping down. Investors and shareholders do have a huge say.
