Does anyone have a method of farming some green books ready for Lance Master release next week?

The best way is to keep the chests I think, so you can get them straight out of it. If that is not working then you have to grind chaos dungeons sadly.
I have used the chaos rooster ones, and done the starter island/quest that give you some. just can’t find anything online to a place that can drop them or some side quests missed!
When all other opportunities are exhausted, and you need green book engravings. The best way to do it is to make a fresh character level them to the ~25-27 it takes to get them through the luterra castle seige in the story.
Afterwards king thirain will have a quest called memories of luttera.
That questline gives like 16 or 17 class engraving chests.
Bank the chests in roster storage. Delete the character. Do it again.
It’s not fun, but its about 2-3 hours work per run to get you the green books.
Any activity you can make gold out of will likely be more time efficient if you are T3.

Anguished isle has them, 7 per character.
I believe power pass characters cannot go back and do those quests. Knowledge transfer characters can.
I started doing T1 chaos with my T3 char. It takes only a few minutes to clear 1 dungeon and you get ~4 green books. The only downside is that you’re limited to 20 books per week. Not sure if it’s per char or per roster (probably char).
Think this is just a limit of 20 forever as i can only buy 4 more and only farmed them on my first toon! Thanks for the info though
hmm, I’m pretty sure I did get a few books during last week and now it’s 20/20 again

t1 abyss dungeons guarantee a class book
not sure if it guarantees one from the same class however.
I commented on a similar thread a few weeks back (or months).
Basically you can do some quests in Luterra for free green class engraving books. You will get 20 class engraving book pouches. And these quests can be done on every character in your roster.

If you do the main quest, side quests & islands you’ll get plenty. I’ve gotten over 90 class books on my main. Which is kind of a joke since I only play one class 
PP can’t. KT can for sure.
I’ve gone back with every single Vern KT alt to do all the green and blue class plus general engraving reward quests.
Credit goes to guy who made this, not me - google doc showing every quest to do. Takes about 1hr using boats between continents. Get quite a lot of green and blue engravings this way. Someone will say maybe time spent farming can buy same books but I also like the roster xp

This is perfect, thanks for sharing! yeah i just don’t want to waste gold. Cause i know the green books for lance master going to be pricey!
Run dailies, sell mats, buy books.
