Not very optimistic that this will be fixed or we will be getting the tickets based on the CM’s responses so far… It is strange though because when you go on the Valtan search party thingy and select gate 2 it says not cleared but you cant enter to finish it…so maybe thats what they need to fix

So you will quit a game you put 1400 hours into, because you lost 1 gate lockout because you was doing valtan on day 1 release and the game was prone to disconnection errors, then ontop of this you have an issue with connection an think its some ip ban to prevent bots lol. Good read dont let the door hit you on the way out. if you give up this much progress over something silly as this then you didnt earn that progress and prob botted to it. Players in this game are so entitled its actually disgusting. You want everything to run smoothly and content to be released non stop yet the moment you have to spend 5 dollars on something you cry p2w.

Its just that this really shows how we will be treated when any issue comes up. This really is so cut and dry to give these people their lockouts back and should have been done days ago with a simple post. I agree with him rethinking putting this many hours into a game run by a company that treats their players like this.

You know, the funniest part is that they can do something about it. Early on, maybe in tier 1, I had to bail so I alt+f4’ed. The next time I logged back on I had an Abyss Dungeon reentry ticket with the reasoning that someone from my party disconnected and I guess everyone else quit.

Bro hes played world of warcraft and BDO if you think this is poor treatment then you got a lot of learning in real life to do. Both those games treat their players like numbers and actively go out their way to waste their time and money since they have sub based model.
Lost ark is free, you arent forced to waste any money or time on it but it makes you want to invest both as it has amazing gameplay and enough content to keep you addicted for hours. I say this as a 20 year wow veteran and the way smilegate and amazon in general handle this game is miles above an beyond anything anyone else has done. Also customer service is always poor at anything, because its outsourced to people who cant speak proper english, just think of calling your isp and this is the typical customer service worker, making minimum wage in india and the managers/sups rarely care what happens as long as the job gets done and no1 really complains enough to draw the higher ups attention, i say this as someone who worked in IT customer service for Cox communications.
I’ve been reading/hearing so much about AGS and their bad support services, which are mostly automated replies and have generally no clue about the actual game.
It worried be back then and it seems to be getting worse according to the forum reports. For the amount of money Lost Ark is making for them, we should get better support services with well trained employees.
AGS better not be funnelling money to their New World team, because its literally Dead World with flooded bots from what I hear/see, camping every mining node and such.
I remember contacting a BDO team in the past about connection issues, I later found out that my ISP was the problem and told them to fix it, however the BDO support team gave me several free expe/item drop boosters for free. That was very nice of them.

Well i got news for you, your fantasy world in game is run by a company irl and that company hires outsourced help to listen and do best effort support for whiney babies like you an the OP, so thinking you are entitled to anything other than a automated response and think you are special in anyway possible to the company when you are basically costing them money to play their game if you never invest into it. Thats how the world works and being entitled like this is just like people who would call me at Work demanding compenstation for the time i had to reboot their modem and they didnt have internet for 5 minutes while it restarted.
As a long time wow player, you should know that a game like this is not going to run perfectly and you do not try to do content you can be locked to if the game crashes or server dcs. Games are not magic, they are run on servers and ran by real people, things happened and if you can accept that this is not fantasty lala land were everything is perfect sunshine and rainbows and accept that this is a company ran by real people and computers that can be prone to errors, then you will lose this entitlment that you feel you are deserving of just because you are a player of a product they make. one that is FREE i might add.

Shroud seems to have a really good contract or something. After saying that he enjoyed playing Lost Ark a little way too much, now he shits on the game and inmediatly goes to play Vrising. 
I have a very good pc and high speed internet as well, so it cant be my own connection problem

You are literally playing the game on a bot.
Bot is short for robot, computers are robots, you use phones which are also bots, they do automated tasks for you like display information and that information is gathered as code and then computed into easy to understand information for the user. also wow has a bot problem a bad one and its not even f2p, those guys pay blizzard to bot an get banned an have to re-buy expansions and everything to start accounts over, lost ark has no restriction to entry it is perfect for bots and bots are just new players but they dont log off an only play for the incentive to make gold to sell, the difference in a bot an gold farmer is that bots dont sleep and can do repeative mindless tasks like grind 1 gold endlessly to generate money. Bots wont go anywhere, unless amazon and smilegate put heavy restrictions on the entry into the game and completely remove the ability to make gold outside of tier 3 content. if you ever played any mmo bots are everywhere, some are coded as advanced enough to just take down the hardest bosses. anything a player can do a bot can do better if its coded properly. thats why there are scripts and cheats in like league of legends, everything you do is as an action input into the game to execute a command, now the difference in a skilled player and a bad one is the skilled one can execute the commands quickly into the game and cause actions to happen in the correct order or very quickly. this is called mechanical skill meaning you can read the situation and react accordingly the more mechanical skill or basically information processing you have the better you are at the game, bots dont need this ability as they intercept the code and can execute the commands flawlessly, this is ofc if its coded properly. just like this game is coded by developers the bots are coded by developers and often more skilled ones. this is not something that will go away easily and amazon is on the losing side as they have to stop the bots while also worring about the new player expierence, yet the bot makers only have to worry about getting around whatever amazon comes up with, if you can understand this, then you will see why nothing can be done about them that doesnt hurt new users.

well thats good too, but i dun care wt does the bot do in game , i do know it does cause the overload and random dc in game, especially like Mari or EU central , the server has a lot of botting activities.
So now u understand my words ? I dun care about anything i juz want to play the game normally. But this getting worse and worse and this is the stopping point for me
