Really scummy to sell the unnerfed version, if this nerf was in fact intended. Least they could have done was communicate clearly about the change in the notes. Won’t be spending another dollar on the game if this is how they try to milk people.
Hopefully @Roxx can get an answer from the devs and pass it along to us.

Even if this is the case, the fact that they nerfed a mount that was paid for gives me no reason to believe they won’t nerf another paid mount. So personally for me, I have absolutely no reason to buy another mount in the future because I care much more for functionality vs aesthetics, hence why I bought the cloud mount.
Just my take - I’m sure there’s still plenty of people that are willing to spend money on looks over function.

Oh wow, the dash is so short now kinda feels like not dashing is even faster, especially if I dash into a 2 pixel stone

Especially since they waited until the last week before it leaves to nerf it. After basically everyone who wanted one bought it already. Super scummy if this is legit intentional.

It even got worse now. With the latest hotfix the cooldown ist shortened again, but the dash distance is now a joke. Please stop stealth nerfing things without even explaining why. Some people paid with real money for it

it was “nerfed” in mid march in korea, during the same patch they recieved the new toy menu that we also got this patch.
it was only a matter of time before we got these changes where their only goal was to incentivize people to want to use whichever mount they liked more instead of just whichever one is faster.
i agree 100% that we should have the changes included in our patchnotes but the changes are for a good reason to not make people feel pressured to buy a mount just 'cus its faster than the mount they actually like.
Makes you really wonder what else they don’t tell us in these patches and Hotfixes and bugs

the gold skin got a cape 2 months into the game due to their incompetence, and they refuse to undo it

This was legit my last purchase on this game, i feel robbed
what is more malicious was that to get the golden cloud mount u had to buy it as part of a package. even if you didnt want the glaivier skin. nerfing it without patch notes, and people saying oh we were expecting this since korea had it. then it should have been upfront informed to people. guess this is the last time im buying a mount from them.

when i post that “it was known it was happening because it already happened in korea” i’m not making an excuse for ags’ lack of communication on it nor making an excuse for it being released in the unnerfed version in the first place as a purchase only item.
i agree with all the statements that this shouldn’t have been like this in the first place and even post nerf there not being any communication about it, i understand a large majority of players aren’t reading korean patch notes or even watching streamers that talk about those patch notes and ags should be communicating it.
i only share the notes and point out that it was expected to happen eventually and that being a smilegate decision 2 months ago not some scam that ags came up with a month after releasing it as well as informing players of the reason smilegate made the decision (since it seems like ags doesn’t want to).
it shouldnt have been in the patch notes. it should have been upfront informed to people when they released the glaivier package (i would have still bought it). also, why not make all mounts as fast as the golden cloud if they want to standardize all mounts? its not that game breaking right? i have the cloud mount, but have never used it cause i still like my tiger, so while it doesnt affect in game, it just shows the scummy sales practice. so much about this game respecting players.
they also buffed alot of base mount speeds and halved the cooldown of all the boost mounts and reduced most spacebars cds as well. i believe their main reason for also nerfing was they couldn’t bring the boost ones up enough to really make it as fast as the cloud not sure you’d have to ask smilegate about that one.
but yes i do agree that they should probably have informed all of us of “upcoming changes” not only when they gave us the cloud but even right after korea got the changes.
