Reaper Bug in Boss Rush?

The Reaper skill “Shadow Storm” is not supposed to allow me to pass through boss level mobs, yet I can in boss rush? Just curious if this a bug?

I’m not sure but is the “bosses” in boss rush just named mobs ?
