yeah it happens, this post just a feedback for the mods. don’t get hung up on stuff. there’s no reason for it to kill you when you’re nowhere near the battle.
Although I got nothing against the change you’re looking for, I can’t seize to wonder how people find it more feasible to ask the devs to fix someting which noone else seems to be bothered by, instead of just keeping that in mind and adapting.
Like, next time bring phero no matter what. Or just accept that you die if you get so unlucky to have that mechanic happen at the wrong time. It’s not gonna happen all the time. I’ve only had it happen to me once, and judging by your post, so did you.

Imagine writing in a feedback forum to tell people that give feedback that they shouldnt do it.
Feedback is one thing, asking for a change is another.
My opinion is that there are priorities which we should ask devs to change, and this ain’t one of them.
Asking for insignificant changes instead of priorities may lead them to change the insignificant and tell us “we hear you, we listen to you” while the game is burning and crashing.
Just my 2 cents.
But I don’t know why I even reply to sceptical, useless comments like yours.
The only way to make your farming more enjoyable is still by overjuicing, its dumb, but it is what it is.

I mean, i can think of a few times when kunga released where i died, went back to spawn to get pots, just to get nuked on the walk of shame back. But it is solved by just holding your rez till after the mech. Like trying to revive in Argos p1 when the safe spots are going off. You are just asking to die at that point lol

What if you got EAC disconnect and just get back in and you’re running to the boss? Perfectly, reasonable situation to be at the starting area or like OP said didn’t use a feather. I agree it should not kill you from so far.
@IrishFistFight yeah but what if you’re holding that rez but it times out before the mech finishes? or you rez before it happens without using a feather and are walking back to party?

Then you chalk it up to very unfortunate timing and laugh it off. Personally i dont think mechs should get tuned/changed/balanced for those sort of one off moments, Like an eac disconnect in your example, or someone going back to get a battle item cause another user didnt call it, ect

Ok so you are calling other people out for not reading properly, while you are most definitely not reading properly. It was talked before about setting priorities on what needs to be changed and now you are talking about the possibility of this happening after getting an EAC disconnect. Its simple fix the EAC issue if its that prevalent that you are considering to change other things that most definitely are not a problem than thats the thing you need to fix. There is no valid reason that will happen a lot and is an intended game mechanic that will cause you to be in the base when this mechanic starts if you are there because you forgot a battle item or something like that simply dont forget it and if it happens cause of a disconnect than the disconnect issue is what needs to be fixed. I have played Kungelanium for a couple 100 times and this happened like once to me how are we making this an issue???

Just because you and a handful of trolls decides it’s a non-issue doesn’t mean a person can’t leave feedback about the game. I highly doubt it was an intended mechanic.

Just now I died and spawned on the base and the ice storm started and I thought to myself:
“This is what you get for saying no to them changing this mechanic”
And then I realized I’m not taking any dmg, lol.
I’ll go test it out, but see wasn’t so hard, prob just had to change “Full map attack” from 1 to a 0
You never did if you respawn during the mechanic you wont take damage from it even if you do with plumes next to the boss. You will only take damage if you are alive while the mechanic starts so if you are running to the boss right now for example.
Yes, I think that’s what happens. I don’t think the mechanic was underway when I spawned, but it could be.
I mean, the exact scenario in which you get killed by it is so rare, that every comment in this thread was on point saying things like that don’t need to be bothered with.
So I guess we still don’t know if it’s fixed or not, but some of us just care less about it xD
Always funny to see how people are posting in a public forum and genuinely complain about other people voicing their disagreement with their opinions. If you dont want your so called “trolls” to respond to your feedback write a ticket and dont go into the forums. Furthermore it definitely is a intended mechanic because it is preventing people from just outranging it. Like everyone liked to do with Tytalos wipe mechanic. This post is the first time i have ever seen a player complaining about this and kungelanium is out for multiple months now. You and OP are like the only players that actually think this is an issue so i think im not trolling when im saying nobody cares just take your guardian soul and move on
