Hello, I have a friend from work who really only played games on console. He just recently got a nice gaming computer set up, and started playing lost ark. He’s planning to just power pass his character to t3, since he wants to run t3 content with our friend group.
My question is, his steam account is only about a week or so old now, and I read that he wont be able to use auction house or do player trades unless his steam account is trusted, or unless he makes a purchase in lost ark. If he were to buy a powerpass today, will he be able to buy accessories and what not off the auction house right away or would he still have to wait before using the auction house/in game trade with us?

So my friend will become trusted immediately just from buying a punika powerpass?
While making a purchase in Lost Ark is a way to get trusted it doesn’t always happen instantly, it may take some time for it to happen, trusted status is assigned automatically so that’s why I can’t so I can’t provide you with an exact time frame of when your friend will get trusted.
Thanks for the input! So “up to 3 days” means he has a chance for trades sooner than 3 days, but should be guaranteed to be able to after 3 days! Good to know!
in most cases yes, however the system is dogsh*t and very inconsistent, I have read posts about people buying royal crystals and they still didn’t get trusted for weeks, even months
I have been tracking posts about trusted status for a few months now, they don’t care about players, only about $$$, I am personally on a day ~70 after I set up everything required, 40 days ago they told me it’s only a matter of time until I can use market and trade, still nothing. I didn’t buy royal crystals and I don’t mean to after being lied to and mislead by useless support. I hope your friend has more luck
Just to clarify there is no official statement about a time frame for trusted status, so please don’t provide your friend with a false expectation, unfortunately there only official statement I can provide is what I mentioned before:
1- It’s an automatic process, so we can’t manually assign it.
2- There is no date or time limit for when it may happen.

this system seems so flawed, how can you play a game for months on end without the ability to use the auction house, waiting forever to become trusted, with no guarantee that it’ll ever happen

how is it outdated when I got it last month? do you change how restrictions work every week? Can you tell me why am I not trusted in lost ark when I spent 5€ on january 21. and set up mobile guard 2FA on the same day? Can you tell me why I was told 40 days ago that my account met all requirements and it’s only a matter of time until I get trusted?

Regarding your other questions as I have responded to you before in other threads unfortunately I am unable to tell you why you aren’t trusted yet, as I mentioned all there is to do is wait.
there is no information on the link, how long do I wait? 5 days? 30 days? 90 days? 400 days? the information is useless and doesn’t solve anything. I did what is required like 70 days ago and I am still not trusted, so no, there is no accurate information anywhere
