Region is closed and cannot be selected - NAW

Hello,

For some reason I am unable to login into my NAW characters. I can access all the other regions but not NAW. Before this I had multiple disconnect when game would decided to close entirely instead of just booting back to main menu like it usually did. I also moved country, from Australia to Malaysia, and I’m wondering if this relates to IP bans.

Hey there @olven, glad to have you back on the forums.

I’m sorry to know you’re having issues connecting to the NAW servers.

The team has been informed of a situation regarding players getting that error message and are working on a solution.

Here’s a workaround that might help you solve this issue:

  1. Go to Lost Ark on your Steam Library
  2. Click the Gear Icon then select Manage > Browse Local Files
  3. Open the EFGame folder and then open the Config folder inside.

Here you will find the UserOption.xml file, right click this file and select Edit or Open With and choose a text editor like Notepad. Then, scroll down and find the < RegionID> parameter.

EXAMPLE:

< RegionID>SA< /RegionID>

You will need to swap “SA” for the region you want your game to default to, these are your options:

CE > EU Central
WE > EU West
WA > NA West
EA > NA East
SA > South America

After you edit this, save the file and close it, then relaunch the game and see if it worked and let me know.
