I’m fully aware that amazon cannot control what region gets unlocked. But seriously? Not a single country in the middle east is included? Not even modern countries like UAE, Israel?
Not a single middle Eastern country qualifies to play on the Eastern servers… and not qualified to play on EU/NA?
Why is this even an issue with the one of the strongest companies in the world? How is it possible that a company like amazon cannot give access to regions.
Why not complain to Smilegate or the JP or RU publishers for not publishing in the Middle East? Is Amazon more responsible for publishing in that region than any of the other publishers? I mean I sympathise with people that want to play the game in their region and are prevented to do so and I think this is a legit problem but I just don’t see how that’s more Amazons responsability than any of the other existing LA publishers.
Take this to Smilegate which declares where Amazon is allowed to unlock…
Amazon is not at fault at all. Smilegate most likely wants to look how amazon is doing with the release. Or maybe they have another publisher in your area targeted for the release.
Releasing the game for middle east won’t solve anything. No Israeli will play in a middle east server, as those servers will be in Arab, and we speak English and want an English only server. Also, I play with a UK based guild that move from game to game, what will a middle east server help me with? I play with this guild in every game for the last 15 years, why can’t I join them on this one?

As someone who plays from Dubai… all middle east servers are in english. Most of the gamers in the middle east are NOT actually arab. UAE is 90% expat population.
Well, won’t really help, because the only reason I play MMOs in the 1st place is to play with my UK friends (and they all want to play this game. trying to convince them to look at other games, but i think we already played every possible MMO the last 15 years, lol). But good to know that if for any reason I ever want to play in a middle eastern server it will be in English.
They “Smilegate” don’t care about the middle east. I am from Egypt and i played MMOs mostly, many years of WOW, Diablo 3, Destiny 2 and others… I have always played on EU servers because even if middle east server exists its usually in UAE or something and it still better latency for me to play on Europe. I have a group of friends from many different countries whom i always play with but guess i have to sit this one out!
I don’t care about middle east servers. i just want to know why are we blocked from other servers without an estimate or confirmation that we will be allowed to play from the first place.

I could say the same about the KR release. Why were we blocked from the servers without an estimate or confirmation that we will be receiving an EU/NA servers in the first place… I wanted to play it in 2018.
excuse me i just want to say that we dont want a dedicated server for middle east , all of online video games connect to europe servers , im from egypt and all games i play they take the connection from eu servers so just we want the region to unlock and we connect to eu servers we dont have dedicated servers here even the ISPs take the majority of their internet power from eu as i understand it some how .

they have a lot of issue’s on all servers capacity so they don’t give a F*** for middle east players,
so that we’ll keep talking about publishers and the locked regions until they got more servers capacity for EU after that some 1 will show up and say " AHA ! we have a solution for middle east player … you can NOW play with EU servers " . ( my opinion ) . they know very well its not worth to publishing the game for middle east because most of middle east players play on EU servers.
