Region Unavailable out of nowhere

Yes I have done the steps in that link. Honestly, your response feels a bit tone deaf and feels like you haven’t read the thread at all with how copy and paste your response is. It feels frustrating for us with the issue when we get a response like this.

For the record, Ive done the following:

Port forwarding, firewall settings checked, firewall disabled, flushed DNS, restarted router & modem, validated steam files for Lost Ark, full reinstall, tried a wired connection and update all windows and GFX drivers.

The only thing that works is if I use mobile hotspot and I am able to connect and switch regions again.

Im pretty sure its not my local settings and an IP ban/black list on AGS/SG’s end but we have been fully brick walled as to any official response.

This is something on your guys’ end. It has nothing to do with IP as I have tried my mobile spot and the same thing happens. It makes me accept the TOS then says all servers besides South America are unavailable. I was literally playing 24 hours ago on this same IP address and then 12 hours later it says all regions but SA are locked?

Yes we understand that the servers are fine.

But clearly something on your end is blocking our IPs which is causing us not to be able to access the servers.

Its been a long standing issue, and I believe if you do a search you will see over 30+ threads with “region is closed” problem.

Please can you help find out how to fix/workaround it for us. Its preventing us from playing the game.

Made an account just to share that myself and a friend are experiencing the same issues.

We got kicked out at the same time while on discord while other friends are unaffected.
We originally play in NAW and both have the same issue, only SA region is available while the rest are ‘currently closed’.

Clearly the servers are working fine and as speculated could be some blanket IP bans, even though my friends and I are hovering 1000hours at 150+roster levels and even finishing adventure tomes. At the very least, AGS/SG should consider filtering bots vs real players using some kind of ingame metrics to identify the bots better…

Hi, I am in NA west but having the same issue.

2 days after disconnecting and not able to choose the server. If choose SA, the game just shows error and shut down.

Hi, this downtime fix has done nothing to fix the issue… 3 days now and still unable to access the game. Would really appreciate it if the team would provide more information on the issue. Bot ban wave is one thing but false IP banning players… AGS is proving to be more disappointing day by day.

Started a ticket with AGS a day ago, radio-silence. speak to a live agent and apparently the tech team asked for a screenshot of what is happening? Do these forums not reach them? Had to provide the link to this thread and the downtime to the agent and ask them to take note of it.

I tried and the agent told me to check whether If I can connect using another internet connection such as mobile hotspot. I can confirm it works with my mobile hotspot (and other internet connection), but the original one I have at home does NOT.

Yup I talked to an agent last night and they asked for a screenshot so i sent them this forum post since it had screenshots and she started a ticket with me. So its looking like nothing is going to be done about it and just have to hope theres some hotfix or we might not be able to play again.

amazon if you don’t stop doing things as badly as up to now the game is going to die friend xd

You cant login at all? No alternative connection?

I’m guessing server restart happened already. I am still having the same issue - nothing was fixed. Is there more update to this matter?

The Server Status may be true for some people but not all, I’m on NA West but it doesn’t let me to choose and shows “The region is closed and can’t be selected.”

Honestly this is not the first time I encounter this problem, however this time the situation has been lasting for a whole day already.

I know you’re just trying to help but this restart didn’t do anything (at least for me). The issue persists and i can’t login. I guess i just can’t play? idk what else to do.

It’s a known issue. Some people assume, you got banned, but that is bs in my eyes. If you were banned, it would say, “banned link to appeal

I bet my existence on it being caused by an unfitting server structure, and the lack of proper servers in the first place.

Appreciate the reports while folks are trying to troubleshoot; the team is aware of this bug and looking into it.

Thank you Roxx. I hope its resolved soon as its difficult for us to play the game if we can’t access our servers.

Its not too bad at around 100-200 ping lol.

But thankfully, the game itself does not require alot of data compared to say streaming youtube.

Just wanted to add that nothing has changed after the latest patch
