Wrong, I bought the golden package but couldnt afford the platinum package. Most of the people cant afford it, or if they can its going to be half of their salary. And on a personal note my financial situation is not bad at all but still the prices are just absurd.
And on another note the “Affordable Founder Package” AKA Bronze Package is another good example of how bad the prices are, 90R$ for just a EarlyAccess is just not a good deal at all.
Yes it’s really expansive for other region to afford it, if they problem is others people from different countries take advantage for it, I’m really sure they can do something related to it, others games work it VERY well… I`m sure Lost Ark can do the same.
Amazing news, but about the Regional Price for others countries like SA? Will do something related to it?
This alone will dictate the success of failure of the LA servers. In a matter of months, everything on the market will be 2x more expensive than NA if regional pricing isn’t take into consideration.
How can we have a stable economy with just 2 servers and waaaay fewer whales than NA east with 10+ servers? The way the pricing is now, is the equivalent of an american paying 50usd for a crystalline aura. How many people would buy it for that amount? For sure there are a bunch that would, but far fewer than if it was cheaper.
Keeping this alive in hopes that we can get some new, hopefully better, answer to this issue.
I understand that the focus now is making the servers run smoothly and fixing account-related bugs, but I hope that as soon as possible this will be something to be considered
The two packs they made available were sold through steam, which has known issues with VPNs and the ability of certain countries to abuse the system, I hope they can find an alternative to selling such packs in-game only and making the whole process region-based and region-locked, so if a player buys something in the SA region it’s SA locked which would deter most foreigners from abusing the system, as I imagine they don’t want to play with us and worse ping
Honestly, any alternative that makes purchases more affordable, 'cause as it is right now prices are kinda crazy
I just didnt say anything yet, because I know there’s more concerning problems that AGS has to deal. But yeah, we need to keep this alive!
Just look at crystal prices for gold on SA vs EU/NAE/NAW.
I believe SA it’s going for about 500 gold, NAE ~70, EU ~100
SA servers definitely need some form of regional pricing as soon as possible, i’m sure AGS, SG and Steam can figure something out…
Otherwise SA servers economy will suffer. There will be a lack of people willing to spend actual money on it to get anything, even the crystaline aura subscription…
agreed this should be a thing… Most of the games even including certain big mmo looter shooters have regional pricing included. I cant imagine Countries like Argentina, turky or brazil to pay the equivalent of 100 usd on their currency. This is like cutting off a whole country from possible revenue not to mention the convenience of the players in their country.
Truth be told, very little expectation from this company
I was honestly surprised when I saw another poster in the forums commenting about how they were stocking pets/mounts in NA 'cause of the cheap price as most people want gold fast rn, then I looked at SA AH and there was only 1 founder pet going for 1.8k gold and 1 mount from the starter pack for 4k gold
Everything from the cash shop is going to be extremely restricted to us, to the point that it’s not even worth considering in most cases
I’m guessing they are having too much on their hands with the fiesta happening in the EU servers. But still, we’re here waiting for the answers from the monetization team @Roxx
Given the fact the dolar to real ratio used for the shop prices was R$ 5.60 for each dolar, and the current exchange rate is closer to R$ 5.20 having and actual regional pricing would solve these fluctuations.
The dream would be something similar to the original pricings that were used on the store before the VPN problem.
Howerver if that isnt possible anything between a 50%-30% cut reduction would be the golden standard to achieve. And it would be feasible with a precedent: Final fantasy XIV regional pricing for it’s subscription, which is fixed at a R$2.99 for 1 dolar. That would give us a 40% decrease.
If anything, at the very least the crystaline aura “subscription” should be regionalized.
But that’s still a very small step in the right direction…
Your ignorance is astounding.
imagine my night out with the boys cost over half of your salary, damn
You just proved my point.
Fact is the pricing is way too high on SA. NA players should talk about their servers, and that’s it.
Players who opposes regionalization pricing doesn’t have to handle with our reality, and couldn’t stand if prices were almost 6x times higher, and this is just one of many points.
In fact, is this a true problem, for those who lives in a poor countrie.
I feelt like amazon games should have a diferent police of pricing, in regarding of diferent prices for diferent regions.
EU is still on fire, but
Never Forget.
Not everyone lives in England, Germany, USA, France and other similar countries where their average monthly wage is 5000. There are a lot of countries where the average wage is 500 euros or even lower. Even Korea which is a rich country has cheaper prices.
Yeah really need to fix , i cant pay for crystals %22.7 of my salary
I really want to spend some money on cash shop, but for us here in Brazil the truth is the prices for our reality are extremely out of the question.
Even because I thought there would be price regionalization, I bought only the bronze pack, so far I don’t understand why there hasn’t been a clearer position from amazon in relation to that.
