Regionalizing Prices / Regionalizando Preços

Hi, my name is Diogo.
You guys should regionalize the prices like some other big games, I know that this could sound like a “lower your prices!”, but it is necessary for the game to grow on the South America, almost every country on Europe and America is a firstworld country which means that the prices , in dollar, is “possible” to be paid by a avarage person on that region, but with South America the scenario is different, using Brazil as a example, you can compare the cost of a lot of things by the same amount of “bill”, like this example: 3 Brazillian reais can pay a brazillian cup of coffee, just like 3 dollars can buy a USA cup of coffee. So if a brazillian tries to pay a USA cup of coffee it would cost at least 4 times higher than the avarage brazillian cup of coffee. This unfortunately is the best case scenario on the south america server, since Brazil is the biggest economic power on the South America. I could ask you to put a really low price , but in the end is you guys to decide, if you want my opinion i would guess that 2 dolar( 10 brazillian reais) for each monthly subscription would be a nice start for some resources, like the Crystalline Aura. I will put two thing bellow, one of then is a word for people to say on the comments, the word “concordo” that means " i agree" so even if you guys don’t understand portuguese or spanish will be able to see what the players want on our server. The orther text that i will put will be the translation of this text to portuguese.

Let our homies have access to content at a reasonable price!

They did that for Genshin and it only made people infinitely abuse VPN to buy crystals.
Same would happen here since changing steam regions is extremely easy, every single person outside of your country would abuse that.

I understand that, but as you can see below there are already countries paying less than Brazilian players(literally every other country that it’s being sold) for paid content on the game.

They definetely can do something about people using VPN to buy royal crystals or something like that, what they shouldn’t do it neglect a whole community which is quite big and could potentially be even bigger if they had made proper localization for Brazil. But you do you, this probably won’t affect you anyways.

The item store system is separated on the South America, if they want to play on the south america server i would be fine with that, they would play with high ping and help our server to grow, i know that this seems like a “lose money scenario”, but if they would buy the items on their server so they will buy “more” by the same price probably expending more, or if they wouldn’t pay on their server and now they will pay some on cheap items. Most of cases it is a win-win situation, and not even thinking about the amount of money they would gain compared to the money they would lose by a little part of the players doing this.

There’s another good thread on this topic with a CM response on this.

This doesn’t affect me because i’m not in SA, but I don’t see why not, just limit it to their region ingame and not based on ip. Region transfers aren’t possible afaik so should be fine.

Sure, there’ll be some people playing there to buy things cheaper but that’s not a good enough reason to prevent a whole region from buying skins etc.

We are paying more because the prices are according to the dollar to braziilian real ratio of 2 months ago… But just like you said, they can’t just ignore a whole continent, not just Brazil, like that, not even mentioning the translation problem.

Yeah i did see the post, but it is already kinda old, and the creator didn’t translated the forum for the players who can’t speak english(about 70% of the south america players), so a decided to try to bring a new light to this problem.

It’s helpful to keep talking about it for sure. It’s not possible to really tell who has read what though. It was more to highlight the CM response that they didn’t have plans to change it any time soon.

It can be quite a weird situation to constantly change the prices of things based on the current conversion rate, especially if they fluctuate frequently.

I’m not asking to keep changing, but just pricing based on the price on dollars isn’t good for the community on that area. Not every country is a first world country, most of the players isn’t able to pay a crystalline aura because of the price, these players need to decide between buying a entire week worth of food or have a monthly subscription on a online game. I’m not expecting a different response, i just want to show how much the community needs and wants this, and if they don’t have any plans, they should create one.

Concordo!

It does since i’m brazilian.

If amazon manages to separate the royal crystal store by region, that would work.
