Amazon claims that the reason skins are being delayed is because skins in the Korean version do not accommodate newer classes such as Striker, Gunslinger, and Sorceress.
However, there are skins that work on every single class in this game. There is a skin line called “Neria’s Dressing Room.” These skins can be worn on any class and subclass and look the same for each gender. Neria’s Dressing Room skins are usually casual themed and are sold in individual pieces. This allows players to mix and match to their preference, rather than buying an entire themed set. All of these skins are also dyeable.

I included a screenshot of the individual pieces being sold in KR shop. These headpieces cost 7,000 WON which is roughly around $7 USD (a bit less).
As most of us know, skins up to January 2022 are already in the game files. In case you missed out on this, consider checking a video by a certain Russian Youtuber. I am not going to link that video in this post because posts with this video have been getting deleted.
Additionally, the recent patch in NA gave us the Lost Ark commemoration gifts which included animal suit skins, pets, and mounts. I find it incredibly hard to believe that it is not within Amazon’s control to add in skins that are already in the game and especially moreso when you consider that the recent gifts from KR were given to us quickly after the Korean players got them.
We have the solution to their reason for delaying skins: Add Neria’s Dressing Room! In case I did not make it clear enough… Yes, Striker, Gunslinger, and Sorceress can wear all of these skins.
You don’t get that we don’t have the same version of the game. Everything has dependencies and you can’t just pick anything that is in Korea and put in Europe without a lot of work behind.
We do have the same version of the game available. It was Amazon’s decision to censor certain skins, change the appearance of NPCs, etc. You are making some big and general claims here but I’d like for you to post evidence rather than speculations to back up these claims. My post addresses the problem Amazon has with releasing skins, nothing more nothing less. It is their choice to ignore it and act like there are no skins available to release for the Western players.
Evidence that we don’t have the same game version? It think it’s obvious. We don’t have the same classes, we don’t have the same endgame content, we don’t have the same UI (front,back indications)… Do you really think that all these things are in the game but just hidden or something?
1: the skins are ALL in our version of the game… all the files are there for many skins they literally just have to turn the switch on and enable them.
2: skins and cosmetic stuffs majority of the times don’t have dependencies in most games devs can add and remove them whenever they want just like how you mod a game. Im not joking most of the times its as easy as Copy Paste then add some extra command lines to enable them and add them to the store.
NOTHING is never just turn a switch on in software development. It always involves work even if its just testing and of course skins can have dependencies.
On the other hand if the skins are already in the game files it should mean that the work it’s already done, but how do you know that?
Completely agree on this. When it comes to skins, this should be priority one. Everyone can use it, and it solves the “everyone looks the same” problem. Seeing how easy they shoved out the animal skins that Korea just got, there is literally no excuse. I shouldn’t be seeing a single shill in here performing mental gymnastics.
You’re missing the point. We are talking about a casual skin shop that can be added to the game sooner rather than later, they have the ability to add it to our shops as well but they’re waiting (for some reason). They are not going to release all the classes at once, they want money so dragging it out ensures that an influx of players will come back when their class release is announced and then they make bank. I cannot explain why we do not have the same QOL (Quality of Life) settings that KR has but again, has nothing to do with the skins that are already in OUR version of the game. Finally, we do know for certain that the skins up until January 2022 are in OUR version of the game. Other than that, I do not want to speculate on what else could be withheld from us.

Their news letter explaining about the skins sounded like lies, even though they claim they want to be “brutally honest”. I hope these threads about the skins can gain more traction so they can’t get away with making such a lame excuse. This is something players have been asking for
Still don’t know why they released a super old undyeable skin that they had to spend time making for gunslinger/striker & not just give us Neria’s Dressing Room when it even fits their weird censorship thing they plan on doing for advertisments, all of these are modest.
