You are so misinformed, if you seem to think them making inf. chaos mats bound will deter bots. Sure i agree with you that doing that will remove one of the sources of income for bots. However ultimately it does nothing. since it’s a free to play game they can make 10’s to 100’s of thousands of accounts and just sell the tradeable stuff they get daily on all those accounts. it literally does the same thing.
If you really want to target bots you have to target the sources. which would be
- Actually making a stance on Rmt moving foward to deter people from buying gold.
- Have some talks with Valve about the steam trusted statues and change it from the current $5 to $10 and also make it so that if your steam account is not trusted you can’t use the MARKET PLACE not only the mail. bots are using the market place to transfer the gold to the one account they have trusted. Sure players might not agree with the whole trusted status thing. BUT this is for your entire steam account , not $10 for lostark
. doing this while banning lots of the botted accounts that are currently in circulation would deal a huge blow to the bots because you are essentially removing 1mil-5mil profits that they can essentially make.
Don’t Think so small by assuming making inf chaos is the fix when you actually need to target the money if you want to deal with bots.
Half of my Guild is using this “mechanic who no one uses”… I bet my Guild is not the only one. So pls stop making issues just because you don*t like to grind.

It’s not just the gold sellers using chaos bot. Some “real players” use chaos bots too to get free bounded loots and exchange weekly stuff “hassle free”.
Maybe reducing limit on rewards and reduce the cost so a real player have a chance to buy out with reasonable amount of time of grinding. Or even put a cap on how many runs you can do without aura of resonance. Making anything unlimited with rewarding benefit will just benefit the botters.

every solution to combat bots has done nothing to eliminate bots but severely crippled enjoyment of normal players. If they remove infinite chaos this would hurt normal players so much more. This is one of the decent ways avg. players like me can earn in game. Removing this is a shitty move.
Ya and don’t try and tell us they aren’t botting it. You and your guild are the reason we’re in this state.

ya average players using bots. I have tried grinding this manually. The price on the mats goes up so quickly that no sane person can do it for very long. This exists for one reason only and that’s bots.

i support this idea tbh, they cant just bot chaos 24/7 to get untradable mats to hone themself anymore. as they lost a tier 3 account due to banned from botting , getting to t3 will take so much longer compare to having infinite chaos
This has to be done… or make vendor items bound.
This would be the laziest, lowest effort solution but I’ll take it. Please disable it if you can’t bother to spend more than 1 hour implementing a solution.

No, it seems like you havent tried unlim chaos it sux to lose another way to get mats for the week.
You can sure tell those who are against this. They are botting it no doubt. The gain is so small from doing it manually. If they made the mats roster bound no honest player would lose anything. You would still get your “mats for the week” you just wouldn’t be able to sell them.

its beyond comical that they have taken this long to turn off infinite chaos dungeon farming… its just a cosmic giggle that they still HAVE NOT, or WONT. as someone who craves more resources, seems to run out of activities IN game to farm these resources at my item level and refuses to swipe to win, I represent the small percentage of the population that would actually benefit from infinite chaos dungeons and I got to tell ya, there is ZERO chance I am going to spend my day(s) running that for as long as it would take to get anything substantial out of it. My conclusion can ONLY be that the only personalities that this “system” caters to is bots… bots exclusively, and believe me its observable. if you cant see it, your blind.
I know AGS isn’t blind. they just don’t give a $hit. lets not confuse the issue with “we don’t know how to get rid of bots” the real problem is, you don’t want to get rid of the bots. they might help you a video game award one day for “most played” MMO…

It’s actually absurd and comical that it was designed this way in the first place. Who was the target audience? People dying at their computer after a 72 hour farming spree?
