Pheons…
Pheons are probably the most annoying and most unnecessary thing in LA.
No other mmo must be forced to use such a thing to send an item to a friend or an alt.
Why do we have it?
Cant we just use extra silver or gold to send/buy it instead?
Also it should be free to send items to your own alts or make it so we can place these items in roster storage.
In most mmos we have banks where you can store all your items, grab it to whatever character you need it on and or sell it if you want to. We need this system too as pheons are super expensive and very unnecessary.
imagine though no regulation was implemented… there wouldnt be anything to buy on auction house … cause u know …always someone else has more money than u and earlier than u… let that shink in for a while
We have banks? there is a roster storage and a normal storage. If you mean a place to store currencies we have that as well. That’s a system already implemented.
Also until the bot issue/RMT issue is solved, the Pheons are keeping thing in check. it required them to hit specific levels before being able to get Pheons. So, it’s an ok proposal, just not necessary at this moment.
The problem is 90% of the items in the game are bound not roster bound, so your roster storage is half useless. If you want to move a stone or accessories from your main to alt it cost you Pheons because you can only mail it, or sell it to yourself on the AH. Its ridiculous. Once again people making excuses for a shitty game design feature.
If you’re assuming i’m using drugs, sorry just using common sense at this moment. Want to elaborate on this? or do I need to say, in KR/RU they have had pheons this whole time, if you really want it removed, or have a logical reason why, please state the solution. Otherwise, stay on the sidelines.
But pheons are the extra gold you spent (golds converted to crystals) to buy and pass things to your friend. As for me, I’ve stacked up to 1.5k pheons when the crystal prices are down and still have at around 650 left. I know that pheons gonna be a problem in the long run so I hoard it. Sometimes, knowledge in the economy of the game is useful. Since this is an alt heavy game, you need pheons to gear em up.
Name one other MMO that has ever need pheons for their AH to work?
Its a cash grab under the disguise of bot/RMT prevention.
Look at any RMTr they dont use T3 stones or accessories they use t1 which doesn’t have a pheon cost, so how is that stopping them?

As for this, You’re suggesting to make this ever more easier for everyone else, who bots/rmt.
To keep giga-whales from buying everything in the market, and listing things at an insane price.
This doesn’t stop the whale’s from controlling the market, entirely. Including guilds who have giga-whales from buying gear, to gear up all of their members for GvG.
In a way, i can agree with this, but why send gear to your alts, when your alts should be able to get it the same way your main can get it? So, other than bound materials I feel like it would be pointless to send rings/gear to your alts. Defeats the purpose of this game lasting longer than 1 month.
Only to players who don’t know how to manage what to buy with them. Not to the mass majority of the games players, i only ever see people complaining about Pheons on the forums, weird how i never see it within the game.
(If it’s such an issue, why hasn’t it been removed yet… hmm…)
I can name a few games that do the same thing, if you really wish. Do i assume, since you’re assuming. That you actually haven’t played a KRMMO before? Is that a same assumption? Not trying to insult you, but you did ask me to re-read this… So i figured i should ask.
Bots love the pheon system. They are the ones pushing the crystal price to the moon and they are the ones selling gold to those who can’t afford pheons anymore.
I bet the people who run the RMT botting market are laughing every day about how the pheon system makes them rich.
Yup, pheons are unironically good for G2G enjoyers. The process goes as follows
G2G enjoyer buys gold > gold becomes blue crystals > blue crystals become pheons
This would usually be balanced out by RMT players (and i mean people who buy gold from F4 shop, thats RMT too) buying gold for their royals, yet the balance is completely off cause of botters.
The result is that there will be thousands of increasingly more expensive buy orders for blue crystals waiting to be filled, and that naturally leads to more gold through the royal crystal conversion. And since royal crystal for gold exchange is the baseline for gold prices, botters need to ask increasingly lower prices to keep it an interesting deal for customers, leading to even more gold

Still pheons are not cool and will never be cool.
They should drop it and let us pay with silver or gold as a fee instead, makes it fair to everyone and not just the people with money.
At least give us pheons regularly and not just as an event and maybe log in rewards. RU gets pheons every single day
