Requesting Rename ticket or name transfer from 1 character to another

Normally, I would have no issue paying royal crystals for renaming a character. However, today’s ordeal was outside of my control!

A few weeks ago, I made a dummy mage character named Mokokalatte to be a placeholder (to reserve the name) for a new artist. There was no issue with this step.

Yesterday, some erroneous chat censorship occurred that restricted all references to mokokos and mokoko-derived names! The offending term was “kok” which has since been corrected.

This morning, I deleted that dummy placeholder Mokokalatte and tried to create an artist with that exact name. However it was restricted due to the erroneous chat filter.

So to my dismay, I named her Mokohkalatte (I had to add a letter between the k-o-k sequence to allow it). So I thus used her quite a bit and already honed her to 1460 in hopes that the issue will be resolved.

Now, I notice the chat censorship has been fixed and I can create a character with the Mokokalatte name again.

So now I once again have a dummy character named Mokokalatte that I want to TRANSFER the name to my main artist currently Mokohkalatte.

Simply put, I want to name the 1460 artist Mokokalatte and delete the level 1 dummy character. To do this now, I will need to delete the dummy character and use a rename ticket which costs 1500 royal crystals (approx $15 USD). However, this whole ordeal was not my fault!

Please grant me a single-use rename ticket for this procedure, or manually swap the names of those two artists on the AGS backend (I can delete the level 1 character afterwards).

Welp, my issue was not resolved and now it seems I’m forced to pay $15 to fix it myself. It seems name change tickets are only given if the name was not allowed itself. Yet in my case, since the name was censored as a BUG it doesn’t count. :frowning:

I’m really sorry that is no possible to grand you the name change ticket.

In this case since they confirm you that is no possible to grande, there is nothing we can do about this situation and I know how frustrating this can be.

In the other hand, I would like to know that when you make the contact with support team have you ask if was possible to make the the transfer of the name between characters if you not, try to reach them again and please give them all the evidence and information about the bug the cause this problem in the beginning.

Hi @Kagami I did indeed end up doing what I knew was possible:

  1. Deleting the level 1 placeholder character.
  2. Purchasing a rename ticket for 1500 royal crystals.
  3. Renaming Mokohkalatte into Mokokalatte.

My main gripe was that I had to pay 1500 royal crystals to fix a mistake that wasn’t my fault. The underlying issue was that the name I wanted was censored for a day, precisely as artist was released. Since I didn’t know how long it would take to fix, I used that modified name with the “h” to at least get started with artist (I wasn’t going to just not make an artist to play).

In an ideal world, I would get reimbursed the 1500 royal crystals that I spent for that name change, but seeing the response from the technician, I don’t think it will happen. I would have used the 1500 royal crystals to spend on more artist skins in the future instead! But her current skin is pretty nice as well.

So it suffices to say that the case is closed but not to my liking. Oh well :frowning:
