Rerolling to a new region; best tips for speedleveling to T3?

[[TL:DR: What’s the fastest way to get a fresh character (Striker) to T3? Main Story + Islands for the T2/T2/T3 honing materials? Do you have any tips?]]

Hey guys,

so I rerolled from EUC to EUW 1 week after release because of the queue times on EUC back then (15k and more in queue).

I am a casual player, 1385 iLvl and recently tried manual party finding for Abyss Dungeons T2 and T3 and Argos.

I was astound that there were almost no groups at peak time, so I googled a bit and came across a post about EUW and EUC and that in EUC there’s basically 10x more items on the auction house, as well as 8x more raid groups.
I also asked someone on Discord to check some jewelry for my Striker on EUC just to compare the stock and the price.
They had like 3x the amount and the price was up to 50% cheaper, and some accessories weren’t even listed on EUW.

This kinda freaked me out, I like the game and want to play it in the future aswell, but I think it will only get worse and that we probably will never see region transfers / mergers.

So I want to level up a backup character on EUC, if possible pretty fast so I can still catch the current Express Event rewards + Ark Pass stuff.

So I’ve got about a month left, with little playtime because I’m still doing dailies on my current main + alt over on EUW.

What are some useful tips for powerleveling, what to skip?

Thanks!

Just check maxroll guide for speedrun to T3, do the islands with mats.

And use the express pass, it gives a ridiculous amount of mats. Worst case scenario, you get to T3 in 6 days because it takes 3 days to complete missions in each tier.

Create a character, wait for the new powerpass.

To power level a Striker on a blank Roster I’d suggest … starting off with a Sorc or Berserker to get ilvl and honing boosts so your Striker can use them.

Striker alone first off on a new roster is rough going. You’re low on skill points, have no support network of alts, and barely any (good) AOE abilities to clear the story quests smoothly.

Knowledge Transfer would probably be fastest and best for your sanity.

But there should be a Punika powerpass sometime in the next couple months. However I don’t think you can use it until you get someone to Punika on that roster. Pretty sure it’s really server dependent not purely account dependent.

I think playing any other class than Striker would slow me down, since I would have to relearn that class.

Also every other class leveled just to use a powerpass on my future main seems like a waste of time.

Well that’s the beauty of Sorc and Berserker.

You literally don’t have to learn anything and can steamroll over the main story ten times faster than a Striker could.

Me and two others recently rerolled from EUW to EUC, actually its gonna be 4 weeks soon.

With the current express pass, you will be up to T3 pretty quick.
We did the maxroll island route, and found ourselves sitting on alot of extra mats. You could skip half the islands, but the island souls and some other rewards are worth while. The route is fast, so I dont really see a valid point skipping them, other then if you absolutely are trying hard to get T3 asap.

I believe we were T3 within ten days maybe, depends on your playtime. We all have work to do, and normal lives. If you have no job, I’m sure it can be done in just 4-6 days.

Currently sitting at 1390 after 3-4 weeks. I also have an alt at 1310, because of the excessive islands mats and supplies with tower mats.

To the suggestion over here (playing as sorc/zerk through the mainstory)… could be done, as you get a powerpass you can use, and then choose your striker as expresspass user. Not sure how slow the striker is though. I’m pretty sure nontheless, that if you start today, you will advance further, then if you wait until Punika pass is released.
