Let me just clarify something… I might be upset because of the state of the game, but I would never, eeeever, wish you any type of harm because of a video game. Not even questioning your job, because if you work in that line of work, it shows you are without a doubt smarter than me, or at least with better life choices XD. Whoever does that should be punished and banned from social media (and society maybe)…
My complains and arguments are just because I love gaming and I actually like lost ark. Ignore whoever uses threats instead of logic and arguments…
it was included in every other version of the game at this point, NA/EU would have been the only territory without it being added with Vykas.

The buff was not originally included in our patch
The messaging around this is all over the place and inconsistent with wording. Wasn’t originally included, but was put back in, to put it back in would mean it was originally in there or was in there at some point and removed.
I just hope that people remember that unlocking this stronghold research requires you to have a 1460 character. Just so it’s clear that it won’t help any people who don’t have at least one 1460 character.
I really hope everyone sending death threats over a game gets psychological help because it sounds like they really need that.

As many people as were complaining about the honing buff and the jar, are now complaining about the other direction as well.
At the end of the day you’ll never make everyone happy. But what you’re doing now is piss of one half first and then piss of the other as well.
I dont mind any delays, as long as we get consistent infos. If you want to know what players think about a topic, make a poll before making an announcement and not react to the feedback about something that’s yet to come.

I mean, AGS is doing a lot of dodgy and pretty baffling things, and should be held to it, but ppl complaining after you get what you asked is a new low for this forum lol
It wasn’t included with the patch, because it was removed from the Vykas release before AGS got the first patch from SG.
We don’t know who is making the decisions to remove this stuff though. That kinda sounds like SG, but I’m still skeptical because a lot of evidence points to someone at AGS pulling the honing buffs from launch that also “weren’t planned for release” (but had a patch note, so were clearly planned for release at some point before that).
Pretty sure that patch note was added accidentally and was taken from the KR version of the game as, it made sense to pull it from the NA/EU release at launch otherwise whats the point in T1 and T2 content at the release.
Pretty sure there was questions asked around this to SG and the response was there are things to learn in T1 and T2 so we want players to experience it.
I would argue at this stage there are arguments on implementing it now to speed up alt progression, it could also be added in a way that doesn’t effect new players, it could just be implemented via the SH research honing buff rather than just globally.

Meaning they’d need to make something that doesn’t exist in the game currently. Waste of time for them to make it instead of just releasing it globally which DOES exist already.

Yes, which makes it seem very much like SG pushed for T3 on release (confirmed by Gold River that he personally made sure it happened), SG pushed for fast Legion Raids (Gold River said 1 month to Argos, 1 month after that Valtan), and SG added the honing buffs to support that timeline.
Then AGS tried it and went “woah this makes T1/T2 way too fast” and had SG remove the buffs.
Of course due to this:
Disaster Argos release
Valtan delayed a month
Glavier delayed a week because they had to change SV patch and remove 1415+ content
New player experience is awful and game will just continue to lose players without really any new ones joining
Personally I wouldn’t say Argos release was a “disaster” but it wasn’t handled in the best way either. Just didn’t have a lot of people I guess but personally I did Argos end of Week 1 without spending money on the game.
Don’t remember. I did play a lot on launch though. I had my main hit T3 and get full 1302 Chaos gear on Feb 21 or at least steam achievement says so. 13 days after head start and then first alt was in T3 a week or something later.
I never do honing 2 to 3 weeks (when delayed) before monthly update. Because I know honing buff for t1-t2-t3 can happened. With this I’m always happy when a big suprise like this is coming. Thanks @Roxx and the team. Hope the story helper come soon, but I dont want to be spoiled I love surprise
Man I was an idiot, with the amount of fails and the honing costs, I dropped 110K gold for my alt to hit 1415. Just feels so dumb as I waited for 1+ month at 1370 patiently. It was literally the announcement saying it wasn’t coming yet that pushed me over the edge. Learnt lesson. Hope you pass this message a long @Roxx
