Double up the chances of those portal spawn. Problem solved.
As for you preferring 2x over 1x, that’s just a matter of your personal preferences now. right?
Objectively speaking, I do not see a value argument to be made for sticking with doing it 2x versus 1x.
Like I have said in my previous post, let me exaggerate to make my point painfully oblivious, why stop at 2x? Why not do 20x a day? Why not 200, 2000x? At this rate, you will get NOTHING done. What a boring game it will be. 2x is bad enough. They need to change it to 1x.
I’m still having a hard time seeing why you would defend the idea of doing it 2x over 1x when you can get the same amount of rewards doing either or. Clarify please.
I am reading this part a few times and I am not following what you’re saying. Perhaps you can rephrase?

At this point, I am not convinced that doing 2x is better than 1x with the same reward. The only group of people who benefit from doing 2x are botters. Why? Cause they can run bots all day and night. They will have the advantage of farming while normal human beings don’t.
I heard that the Trial Guardians were actually per character at some point on KR which they changed to the system we have now because it took people too long.
Correct, it is 20 minutes because you should do your Alts once every 3 days, saving 66% of the time but only loosing ~33% of the loot. (double loot every 3 days equals ~66%)
I created 10. Aside from Gold-Limit everything else gets you far more materials if you play more characters less regularly.
To get to the amount of resources you get from playing 6 Characters daily you could play 9 characters every 3 days and cut your playtime in half. (Essentially getting exactly what you want: 6 chaos dungeons per day for the loot 6 characters would get).
Does it take time to pull 9 characters to T3 Mid? (1370 is where they should stop) Yes!
Is it worth it? Also yes!
Thank you for the reply. Can you suggest to the dev team that they really need to run the NA servers differently than KR? Things aren’t the same across regions as you can see with the botting crisis we have.
This is indeed a solution, but we are talking about the majority/mainstream player base. 2x Guardian/2x Chaos Dungeons is nicknamed “homework” and “chores” for a reason.
True, but how would that change if it was just halved?
Then the recommendation becomes 12 chars because 6 was managable and with half the work required after the change 12 would be the new 6.
Other than Gold and free slots nothing is limited to 6 characters…
If the GHL stay this expensive I might even do Oreha Hard and Argos on more than 6 just for the mats (I usually don’t need pots anymore by now - even on the chars that use grudge)…
That’s the whole point, it brings the mainstream up to the 6x character gold limit without limiting those that want to push even further. It’s a win/win for everyone.
More 6x rosters means more players for weekly content too.
You have to group for Guardians meaning the time is taken out of your hands due to possibly getting matched with people who have terrible builds and die repeatedly.
1x Guardian is a must change, 2x chaos a day seems reasonable.
For overall I would like that changeif you add it with my solution. My thoughts:
(big pro) Biggest reason I would agree to this change is indeed less “chores” and more time for more alts or more time for “fun” content or…
(big con) Even if you play 1 or more characters you still have 66% efficiency that you can CATCHUP because of rested bonus, we can exactly catchup 2 days before in 1 day. With your system we can only CATCHUP for 1 day before or you need to play multiple days after another (less days to skip in theory).
(solution?) Otherwise you need to let players have the options to run chaos dungeon or guardian raids more than 1 time with rested bonus (you get than 100% efficiency if the loot of rested bonus is not changed). The change is only feels weird on first sight but I think is fine or even good in the long run with more things coming to do in the week of content.
(con) if you want to implement your system with my solution its maybe difficult to program with the interaction with infinite chaos (or maybe something else).
(pro/con) Maybe for some people is this less a reward that you now log in diligence daily. There is also less to do in the game then but in the long run I think it’s good because it feels less doing all those chores with later the added legion raids or …
(con) some people like doing 2X chaos or guardian, now less incentive to do with the no/reduced rewards. But you can’t please everyone.
Bots can farm all day. The propose change wouldn’t affect bots but will benefit human, to clarify.
You won’t be losing a chance of getting a portal if you average things out. 10% chance of getting a portal means 10% chance, regardless of how many times you run it. Things will be average out by law of average. Math and statistic was my minor back in college. I do have a good idea of these concepts.
I think the OP was talking about just the daily aura to do chaos/guardian. Again, bots wouldn’t be affected with this change, but players will gain a efficiency benefit.
