A few months ago I deleted a Soulfist character (can’t remember the name it had) which was around 420 gear score. I was thinking of leveling one again, but to save some time and effort: would it be possible to have this character restored?

Unfortunately I do not have a slot available at this time. I have the new soulfist being deleted in 1day.
Would it be possible to force delete that one and restore the old one?
That would be not possible, unfortunately we don’t have a way to delete a player’s character (or to force-delete it).
In this case, I recommend you to come back to this post as soon as you have the slot available and I or another mod will be able to complete the restoration.
Also, for you to know, I see that the Soulfist name is Superhawk.

I just restored it, the next time that you get in Lost Ark you should see your Soulfist there.
