So i’ve returned to the game (400 hours),
Step 1: didn’t remember which server i was (lol) but no wries i’ve found the number of characters created and i’ve re-entered the game.
Step 2: got a bit overwhelmed with all the items menu etc so it took me some time to refresh my memory.
Lost my cards googled it, found them al good. Retrieved some other items as well.
Step 3: went to the Chaos Dungeon to matchmake (1355) waited for a long time no people to group up.
I’m currently at “Lazernith” server and i was wondering how to progress since no one is at that score i assume

Chaos dungeons are 90% of the time done Solo
Also, your gear score is pretty low, so not that many players will be queueing up for them.
There are many guides on youtube that will help you on how to progress from your ilvl. Basically your goal is to get to 1370 to unlock the next content.
Do you oreha dungeons, farm your daily guardian raids and chaos dungeons, shouldnt take more than 1 week to get there, if not days.
So since your hours aren’t long, I’ll say what has changed.
1st map and menu
- The map UI has changed, you can zoom in and out and flick side to side for other regions in the content, the triport button is located on the top right
- There is now storage for your skins and your Una weekly token are stored in separate storage in your storage now
2nd Chaos Dungeon
- Chaos dungeons are usually soloed. This is done because you don’t have to share materials with other players and also because bots have started to enter Chaos dungeons, as some players got locked into Chaos dungeons with bots not wanting to advance, so you lost out on your Chaos Dungeon run
3rd Boss Rush
- Another limitation that has been introduced to players, is that you have to item level 1375 to open your boss rush chest boxes, thus making you stock up on the boss rush chest and indirectly making gatekeeping even stronger. As players look for level 5ish gems for Argo’s raid.
- Bots were using boss rush as an easy way to sell gold
4th Raids

Argo’s raid entry level has been decreased. Now the entry level for Argos is 1370 across the board, and your progress is now saved once you have passed the first gate. So if you stopped at the 2nd gate you can continue there with others that have stopped there.

There are still gatekeeps in Argos so watch out for players looking for the previous entry requirement that being 1400/1445

Valtan, Vykas raid also has gatekeep mechanics introduced by the player base, some want item level way above the required entry for Valtan hard, not sure about normal as I moved to RU when I was comfortably doing Valtan and Vykas normal.

Valtan hard is usually gatekeep by looking for player’s item level 1460 which is the item level you are looking for Elgasia so… yeah

Clown Raid: they want you to be at 5x3 with level 7 gems across the board, some can accept level 5 gems but that’s not a guarantee.
5th cards and gems
- Light of salvation or LOS 18 is the required entry for brelshud and players look for level 7-10 gems across the board.

You shouldn’t invest your time and mental into this game imo. It’s filled with dc issues, Devs treating players as third class citizens (typically the case with Korean mmos), community that is toxic probably due to how players are treated, awful systems, awful monetization, riddled with bots… there’s a lot of issues. The combat and raids is all the game really has going for it. Other than that… just bad

honestly i can’t and no one can recommend the game atm but on the other hand if you like the game you won’t be able to come later cause of gatekeeping cards, roster lvl etc etc

I honestly recommend that you go to the RU version of the game if you don’t mind getting a VPN or KR/JP if you know how to get into them.
The western version of the game has so many bad core limitations placed on the players. Like if you don’t mind playing a version that is westernized, censored, and has limitations on your overall playability, stay there if you want.
But if you want to play a version of the game that doesn’t has changed but the name changes, go to another version. The Western version will not be changing from how it’s being produced and I just can not recommend it.
If you are someone that spends to progress you can’t do that well in the western version with all the limitations(Gold earned, Market House access, Gem earned) and even if you are someone that plays to progress you have pushed back again, and you know if you’re going to be pushed back again in the future.
And the recent play to progress pushback now affects you more because gatekeep is a thing, and players look for level 5 gems in Argos and some Oreha dungeons and you can’t get those unless you are item level 1375, which was achievable from item level 1302 onwards in the past.
I can not recommend a version of the game that has core limitations placed on the players, spending feels bad because u have to wait for a 3-day restriction each time before u can use that gold for progress, the money you spend can not be used right away to progress, so you just spend for skins or silver. Playing to progress feels bad as well because you don’t have gold to use anymore from NPC’s and even the gold from side-content is under the 3-day restriction limitations, so you can’t even use that.
If you are okay if a version that has such limitations with DC, EAC, RMT, and the chance of getting your account permanently banned if you DC too many times or any other odd reason that you may not know without much of a chance of getting your account back, sure stay there.
I just can’t recommend it if such underlying issues. I can’t… I I I I can’t recommend it feels bad, Playing as a spender feels bad, playing as a non-spender feels bad, it just does sorry.
From playing in another version (RU) and seeing how different it feels… yeah I can’t.
Quit no but definitely look into the other versions and compare how it makes you feel and make your own decision.

How are you going to tell players to not play the game but you are? My brain is fried.
game feels better when you are on the top and “secured” yourself, dumping the crap on ppl below instead of you still trying to climb up thru all the crap 
its enough for some ppl to keep struggling for a little longer
You sound like the villain from a movie. W/o population there’s no growth, no growth means the end of the game. Sounds just like humanity is it not? Older players are quitting and slowly being unactive. This game needs new players to refill the gap of the lost population or there will be no Lost Ark 2.

just quit and go play a non p2w game, this game is based on how can I push players to drop big quantities of money, you are better off playing a game with a subscription that once they got your 10 monthly usd they are fine and focus on content to enjoy not on content to get more money out of you

I wouldn’t recommend you to play the game tbh. Way to time consuming and it will - if you play it serious - fuck your real life. Play different games that respect your time.
