Last time I played the game was 4+ months ago. Suppose I don’t have any gold on me to start with. My character can do up to Brelshaza 1-2. With average luck on loot, how long would it take to fully transfer from Surge 5x3 to RE 5x3? (including those few lvl 7 gems that need to be replaced, considering I have 0 leg books and 0 RE accessories)

Depends on your regiion, number of alts, ilevel of alts, how much extra content you do.
I make 150k minimum each week with 5 1460 alts and a bunch of other things (like selling gems, trade skills), lets use that as baseline.
Gem rerolling is just silver, RE books probably take less than a week of income, acessories can be tricky since it depends on player drops but i assume 2 weeks tops. Worst case in one month with this amount of income you’d be fully transitioned to RE
you upgrading gems need time with single char, can take two and month if you spam boss rush, each weeks.
also upgrade wise, engraving books gonna be cheaper tommorow, start saving i guess? so you can buy it in next week?
starting tomorrow u wont need gold for honing up to 1445 and material costs will be even more discounted , also check the powerpass hyper express events for ur alts since ull be using more silver u would want to do those chaos dungeons
