The way that the skill tripod is worded is that it shields party members for 10% of the HP. However this value doesnt reflect the bard as I can stand in my own rhapsody of light and not be shielded or gain the additional damage reduction value. I understand when casting with shining protection the bard gets -50% incoming damage regardless while sacrificing 50% of the damage used. I just dont know why this isnt upgraded to the bard while standing in the circle themself. I thought it did at one point but now Iām not sure. I see other videos where bards shield themselves with rhapsody so why doesnt it work in NA?
