none of my alts are 4x3 + 1 or more and have no issue getting into party finders. theres also nothing stopping you from making a lobby and taking whoever you want
true amazon hasnt devoloped any system to elimanate bots here other than banning real people. banning rmt and bots here is not a real solution. in my opinion the best punishments is to turn the golds received by the players to minus. in this way the rmt intake drops alot afer all when you got milloin gold from 3 party sites this a real hard slap but amazon should be very good at detect these gold without spending it and reduce it to minus or if they spend it they still have to turn it minus. otherwise this war is endless cuz if a rmt or bots is banned other people do it instead a war that is a waste of time
Great idea, now you come up with a detection method that is 99.9% or better for positive correlation (e.g. less than 0.1% false negatives)
Because in order for a zero tolerance policy to be fair, the false negatives also have to be near zero.
Even a 1.0% false negative, meaning 99.0% working detection system for that 1k+ RMT triggering the ban, means 10k+ players screaming on the forums about unfairly banned (1mil non-concurrent players x 1% error rate = 10k players)
There probably isn’t 1 mil concurrent online players, but based on even early launch numbers there were well over 1 mil total player base. But for sake of argument, let’s say not even half that - then take half of that again, so barely 250k total players, not concurrent, but total for all eu/na/sa combined.
That is still 1% error rate = 2.5k players screaming unfair ban. We have what, bare handful to few dozen on forum at most making threads re: unfair ban and that still makes huge amount of noise. Multiply that by thousands.
Instant ban for even 1k gold is fine, nothing wrong with the sentiment. But to enforce that as policy, you need an error rate so extremely low that in modern society we only expect that kind of system in critical infrastructure like telcos, where standard for dial tone uptime is 99.999%.
But if you think 1k RMT detection with near zero error rate for false bans is easy, then fine, put up the code in GitHub or better yet, patent and sell it for $$$.

It is not just too late but also too late to have any solution to it, only solution is that game will slowly lose more players and bots will leave game as there will be less profit.
To support my various nefarious habits that cost gold while playing Lost Ark I have found that tradeskills are very profitable if you know what you are doing and have systems up and running.

this hurts my soul, been saving money for 5x3 class books, i’ve consider the books cost about 10k, but i’m dead wrong, in the end i spend 230k for 18 books, (2 i got for free from previous hyper express event), and thats it now my money down to 30k, starting from scratch again to find accessories,
i’ll pray to those who RMT and make the books expensive will never could pay their hospital bills and die untreated lol
well before bots abused thronespire guess what grudge was the same price it is right now its simply supply and demand as for some of your other points yeah its a little bit fucked with all the RMT but some legit good accessories are so rare they will sell for 40k but 200k+ is way to sus
if you wanna see 100% undeniable RMT in recent sales look for t1/t2 gear selling for 100k+
they need to make the currency exchange competitive to whatever the bot gold price is because the 3 day gold hold on top of your money not even getting you much makes people want to RMT.
i met someone when i was learning the clown raid they didnt have 5x3 we still cleared the raid but they felt useless not being 5x3 later i find out that guy is banned because he RMT to try to get 5x3 and better gems when i asked why he didnt use in game currency exchange he said the rates are like 10x worse im glad he is banned but its sad seeing people feel like they need to RMT
And that’s FOMO getting the best of people sadly
You don’t need to buy third party RMT for anything in this game

Either you pay with your time, or you pay with your money
Invest your time and the gems, 5x3, books, they all come eventually
Invest your money and you get there a bit faster (or a lot depending if you wanna spend a lot)
I wish that the prices were comparable to third party sites, but that’s a reality that probably won’t happen

They didn’t need it since you can’t just make 500 accounts in Korea. Exported Korean MMOs are always plagued with bots because they are never developed from the ground up to keep them out since their account creation already does that.
Even WoW still has bot issues 15+ years later, but it doesn’t ruin the economy because character progression isn’t 100% integrated into gold earning/spending.
Until LA finds a way to detach character progression from gold, it will always have Bot/RMT issues.

It already did. Everyone I know(including myself) quit because of how bad RMT inflation ruined the game. Noone can afford 5x3 and even 4x3 is a complete joke. Thanks to blue crystal prices, stronghold items are impossible to buy now, pretty much completely killing a whole branch of end game content for everyone(who didnt rmt or stockpile 90000000 blue crystals the first month of release). Theres literally no point playing this game anymore since amazon will never fix the economy.
the game will get worse with brelsehaza, the value of ancient jewelry will start from 2 million when sold, but due to bots and rmt, there will be very, very few players on our server who can buy them except rmt players.

there is litteraly 0 reason to buy theme at that price if your not a giga whale
however these prices will not decrease for a long time as ancient jewelry is an end game content even in korea these accessory are still sold for 1 millon gold. it doesnt matter youa re legal whale or rmt legal whale has daily limit. iso rmt players will not wait for 3 days like legal whales and will not worry about the spending limit. at the same time, rmt players buy more gold for less money than a legal whale would pay. remember thats why im saying this game will die after brelsahaza at least a lot of people will quit

I think its mad that you can see all recently sold items, easiliy identify funky transactions and still nothing is done.
