in my opinion, a vast majority of ppl would quit, if the roadmap is not more wonderful and amazing compared with normal
coz the tolerance of most ppl is around the rim of their limit

inhales copium There’s bound to be a roadmap released this in-game week, because the end of next week is the next content patch, so they want to hype that up by releasing a roadmap beforehand.
content patch is in 2 weeks. they don’t release it this week. they already confirmed that.
I’ve reached the point where I hope the roadmap is trash and the games dies in the west.
Maybe this will be a fucking lesson, so they actually start listening to playerbase instead of lying and dripfeeding everything.

Was talking in game weeks, so I agree.
April will be big . We need something or this game will be on the struggle train .

Pretty much this.
Not earlier.
Love this Game in it’s original state and was so exited it’s finally coming.
But releasing it with T3 content and cut it down Like this, together with “soon” for weeks and half baked Copy&Paste answers…
I’m close to the same opinion like you.
They messed up their own games and now they are messing up another one while only beeing the Publisher.
I hope the next 2-3 month will f*** them up as a publisher, a new one or even SG themself will show up and just do it right.

i totally agree with you i think it would have been better if a small publisher or one who loves games would have released the game in the west… it’s just noticeable that the people at ags don’t put their heart and soul into it and the problem is the management at ags doesn’t care about games they only care about generating more money

A lesson for what ?
They had a lesson with New world
They could have watched how, even if people are playing it, World of warcraft is in a bad state, and people spit on it
They can learn with EVERYTHING, litteraly EVERYTHING that happend the last 20 years on the “video game universe”, but they NEVER do, because they dont need, there is no law, no rules around video games, and more than anything, there is no PASSION, only money.
There is no learning, there is nothing for the future of the video game in EU/NA, every corporation is sh*t, and put money and “fame” before their game.
And it’s easy to see, watch an interview of Goldriver, and watch a interview of any f*cking EU/NA corp about their game, every interview about Goldriver mean change, mean a better future for the game
And yet, every interview about anything on EU/NA, it’s full of shit, they cant keep a game in a good state, because that’s not their goal.

Ion Hiazicostas (or some shit like this) : Oh yes, it’s not gonna be a fail like we did before => Nah, it’s an even bigger fail each time.
Game isnt gonna die, not this year, because people that dont want, or cant play on RU/JAP/KR are gonna stay on it (8 years that we’re waiting for it), but it’s gonna be worse, way way worse than it is now.
And it’ll end up dying, because they DONT KNOW how to save a game.
And then there’s gonna be an interview for some next game that give players hope, from amazon, and they’ll say “Oh, We’ve gained experience with Lost ark” and fail again.
And Lost ark, and in a more general way, gaming works in Korea, or even in Asia, because they accepted it, and they work round it, if it wasnt the case on Asia, then on EU/NA, it’ll still be the same as 20 years before, when you were a weirdo because you played video games.

Okay sarcasm over, I expect the roadmap for April to release some time around June. MiniTrue will just backdate it and it’ll be absolutely accurate, for sure.

Couldn’t put it better myself. Gaming is in a horrific state in the west, where its more about what money you can make than the quality of the game. Check out all the popular games atm for the kids that followed (copied) fortnite to get in on the slice of that pie. Nothing is unique or creative in gaming anymore, its just a rehashed version of something else with a better monetization model.
Last unique/creative game we had was Zelda BOTW and its japanese made & we all saw how much every other game in the following years ripped off every feature they made. Lost Ark was supposed to be different too, and be making a path for itself as a new style of MMORPG. But instead its just another F2P cash cow milking the users for money in any way they can. Shame.

And yet we’re still waiting for more.
Because we dont have any choice, i mean, not everyone can learn asian language (that are known to be the hardest in the world) just to play some video games.
A simple example :
I’am waiting for Starfield, because they sold it as a TES in the space, i imagine it as a little part of No man’s sky, while the story and exploration is like of Skyrim, what i imagine is a “true” RPG in space, with all the freedom that come with the word “space”.
Pretty sure what we’ll get is another game that deceive.
And people keep talking about the difficulty of doing video games, because it’s a hard work, it takes time, bla bla bla
The reality, is that right now, the real difficulty is loving video games, because you can’t be honest with yourself.
I really hate the state of video games here, because it became just like drug business, more than video games business.
The login event is over for people that have done it every day since day 1, I would hope it would come out today.
