Hahaha the attitude in this game’s community is, well, I’m not surprised I guess.
So for a lol, I googled Lost Ark Patch Notes. Then I went to the first result. Then I scrolled through a bunch of stuff that talked about all sorts of things, but one of them in small print had ‘Release Notes’ written above it, even though it talked about The Witcher or something as the main headline. Then I scrolled through a ton of notes that talked about many things. I couldn’t spot anything - so I CTRL+F and looked for the word ‘Chaos’ but it didn’t highlight anything. Even without that - I would consider this ‘unusual looking thing’ being a bug worth reporting - even if it’s mentioned in notes somewhere in who knows where. How much time do people spend going around to questions giving people crap for not doing something you think is obvious or simple, just to be a snark?
I tried again - I went to the Forum homepage and went to a forum called “Latest Official News Topics” and there was a bunch of stuff in a foreign language, then I spotted the latest English entry. It just tells me about offline servers. I checked 3 more English Update entries on that forum and didn’t find the word “Chaos” on any of them.
Then I searched the forum for “chaos” “complete” “bug” but all I found were people posting different bugs with chaos dungeon.
Then I searched the forum for “Release notes”. I clicked on the first option that was not a user post, and followed a link in there to a Release Notes page. It was titled 'Wrecked the halls" but I don’t know if that’s the latest one.
I searched for Chaos and found nothing about a bug or disabling a button and at this point. Regardless if you happen to know exactly where to look, or do a better search or whatever, how about just not having an attitude when helping people - a simple tweak would have been “It’s a known issue. Here is a link you can use to read the latest patch notes” - not that that would remove the knowledge on whether it is even a ‘latest’ thing or not.
I googled “lost ark patch notes chaos dungeon button disabled” and I found a reddit post, asking the same question, with the same answers. So fine - I probably might have found an answer, but I was just stupidly thinking it might have been just me, it looked like a bug I could report, and I just came straight to ‘my community’ to check-in. Did I due enough due diligence/effort - maybe not - but I figured if people would know immediately and save me a lot of messing around - it would be here. But of course not - only bad attitudes found here.
Maybe there’s a big banner or something saying ‘Release notes’ I should be seeing - but maybe my page hides it or something for responsive layout? No idea. But please…why does everything have to have a snarky attitude attached to it.
But message received - if I think I see a bug, I’ll just report it straight to support from now on, and at least any attitude I get will be ‘formal/official’.
I also just went to the support page, I searched ‘Chaos’ and nothing related. And I went through the various default categories they display and nothing related there also.
Have I been reading every post on this forum as it comes out, to be up to date with every detail of every release. Nope.
Now I’m sure you’ll show me how easy it is to find this information now - please do, it changes nothing, and maybe I will learn the best sequence for finding info in future, instead of getting nothing that actually helps me avoid the snarky attitudes in the future.
I just fiddled more with the search function - and found release notes in a sub forum that helped filter out random topics, but even then did not find the word ‘chaos’ mentioned alongside anything about my question.
