Since Rowen is so imbalanced between factions… Liebertain had approximately 5 times the number of players so that completing the event was not possible. Thus I failed and the game took one of my two weekly credits for it.
Please fix this to either give rewards for participating or not take my entry. Grinding faction points is very difficult when on the losing team every day.
Edit: I did try both events but because I couldn’t even get a single POINT in the siege, it also gave me nothing but didn’t take my entry.

Thanks for looking into it. I have some updated information as well.
Some other people encountered the issue and I might have discovered what went wrong. Since my team was losing very badly (maybe 5 red to 1 blue ratio) in channel 1, I decided to switch to channel 4 mid-event for hopes of a better situation that made the events feasible.
By switching, I died immediately before I could see what was going on! I then repeatedly got chain-killed over and over and after an attempt to get back to the north field (where there domination event occurs for Preigelli players), I was intercepted by even more red players (who also had the 3 middle waypoints captured as well).
By the time I made another attempt to reach the north side, the event ended and I lost one of my two participation credits for the week. I did have contribution when I was in channel 1 but by swapping channels, and not being able to get a SINGLE point in channel 4, the game thought I didn’t participate so I received no rewards or faction points. Yet the game did think I participated in channel 1 so it ate my entry!
When I tried to participate in the siege in channel 4 (the event in the middle of the map) afterwards, I was killed repeatedly and was unable to get a SINGLE kill or assist thus ended up with zero points again, but it didn’t take my entry that time since I didn’t switch channels.
