if me and my community keep quiet, definitely not. LOL
so we can’t ask for fair prices, or correction of values?
Dude, this isn’t about you and your region, what’s the point of wasting your precious time on this? Wow, it’s really hard to understand people like you. Fortunately most foreigners showed support for the previous topic’s cause.
You are intent on fighting with me and I don’t know why.
It’s dumb to ask for a reduction of $116 to $99 when nobody can afford either price. They’ll lower the price and claim it’s all fixed when what you really need is a price more like $20 US. But that’s fine. Go ahead and give them a good opening to take advantage of. Like you said, why should I care?
Please @Roxx Take a look at this, Brazil has some serious economic issues and we’re paying more than any other region, That doesn’t make any sense. If guys don’t want to regionalize the prices at least use the right conversion.
This is a serious topic, obviously paying in USD plus having disadvantaged exchange rates etc gives the player base the worst scenario to support the game and to use the in-game store to progress, yet looks like the CMs didn’t give the proper attention to this thread, this is too bad, start to thinking if they really deserve their players
they cant even implement shit thats already ready, can you imagine they reworking the entire roster stuff just for brs? that shit is bound to account so if BRs get lower prices everyone will too. youre not wrong and these prices are really obnoxious, but reality is ags wont do it.
They have regionalized prices through Steam by using separate Steam items and DLCs by region (e.g. “100TP Bundle for NA(North America) Servers” and “100TP Bundle for EU(Europe) Servers”). Those products aren’t usable in the incorrect server, enabling localized prices while not exposing the lower prices in cheaper regions to players in the more expensive regions.
Of course nothing would stop you from playing in SA exclusively for the cheaper prices, but you’d need to deal with the increased latency and not being able to play with NA friends.
That would be a great fix (specifically for less economically developed regions) however, that would require a whole rework of the store system (as it’s currently account wide) it would also mean that people who play on both EUC and EUW would need to double pay for aura
It also wouldn’t help less economically developed countries in richer regions (for instance Slovakia), and while it’s a much much lower population Chile would be able to take advantage of the lower prices while having an average earning above half of Europe
This kind of solution isn’t a silver bullet, but it does go a long way. Either way, the argument of the odd balls can be made for anywhere – without even looking out of the US, the current pricing is way more favorable for people who live in MA/NY than for those who live in AZ.
It’s like this for a lot of countries outside the US, I live in Canada and we even get ripped off on the rates. 9-10 cents per dollar more than US pricing. Should be at 1.23-1.25 CD not 1.33 CD
