Roxx, please save us from this unfair auto-suspension

Send in your appeal ticket and you’ll get 4 replies to your mail every few minutes. Isn’t this clear evidence that they send their work to the next agent over and over again and end up in the trash?

They must respond before the appeal goes to the final stage and goes to the trash.

@Roxx Just finished a full work day and still AGS has not fixed this and unbanned my account. Can you do your job please? Get us unbanned or show me some proof of this ban being legitamat. we demand answers

Pretty interesting how all these accounts got “banned for 3 days” at almost the exact same time the DST switch happened (March 13th at 1:00 AM, and from what I can tell almost every single tempban in here expires on March 16th at 1:00 AM - 1:03 AM). I wonder if the DST switch flagged something in all these high-playtime accounts that caused them to get automatically suspended for 3 days, and for whatever reason it just didn’t cause the accounts to explode entirely until today.

Might be something to look in to, or could just be a hilarious coincidence.

Speaking from experience this is how their ban appeal system works.

  1. You sent in your appeal
  2. Person at Amazon (no idea which department). forwards the appeal to the moderation team.
  3. Moderation Team looks it over, they either. Unban you, deny the appeal, ask for more info. (the moderation team actually don’t contact you ever).
  4. Amazon person (no idea which department). Receives notes on what to do next from the Moderation team. And they send you your denied appeal back or email with the ask of more information. (You do not receive an e-mail if you do get unbanned.)

You also cannot reply on the denied appeal e-mail.
You will instead just get a amazon person saying that the previous agent has already sent you all the information (basically the appeal being denied).

If you do get denied then you do have to start over with the appeal from the beginning.
Now this process isn’t 1 day, 2 days. It took me to get unbanned 12 days. (I was perma banned)

Edit: Forgot to mention the most important part. After being falsely perma-banned for 12 days. I did not receive any compensation nor an apology.

Most certainly not a joke. I don’t remember which Call of Duty game it was but a long time ago Activision also banned many users who bought it on some shady website. That kind of thing used to happen occasionally, but it’s something publishers and devs pretty much stopped doing because I believe they realized how stupid it is to punish a customer who actually bought the game and has no way of knowing whether the key is fraudulent or not. Also a major difference was that these keys came form stolen boxes, which isn’t the case for Lost Ark, because well, there’s no box to steal to begin with.

G2A is not a legal source for games, it’s a grey market.

A lot of keys on there are obtained illegally.

Wait you cannot be serious right. It’s not the customer fault that they bought keys online from some other outlets. It is equally not their fault if they purchased a refund items from the market.

Whose idea is it to come up with all this ridiculous ways to punish players for playing the game because that’s all I can see so far meanwhile the bot / spam still relevant in the game.

If someone refunded for example an item like fashion/steam keys/mount the proper way to punish such a player is to IP ban them. You do not touch the players who bought those items in-game. So if a bot farmed chaos dungeon and selling honing materials, are you saying that it’s players fault for not knowing the honing materials came from a bot? If then what is the point of leaving the AH open, please shut it down just like Diablo 3.

This is a good game, but AGS will run it into the ground soon with 0 real players participate in any content except for BOTS if whoever in charge of all these ban parameters doesn’t stop.

It’s off topic but IP bans have stopped being relevant for a long time now. Many players have a dynamic IP or use a VPN. Serious bans are HWID based.

you guys go unsuspended too right ? just asked via live chat if my account was flagged or not because of it and said no i can play freely, lets hope so.

Yes and I’m talking of the most basic measure AGS can do to combat the bot without punishing real players. Did we see this method being considered at any point during this whole time?

1 IP, HWID, etc. can clump up multiple bots at the same time, yet the solution is to not do it and instead trying to define all these ban parameters that is affecting real players.

Finally got unbanned and can now reply again. For hours after it happened our only way to communicate with the general forum because we got locked out of the support one. Thankfully Roxx got support to also lock us out of the general forum so it was impossible to reply at all which is why the flows of replies suddenly stopped. Thanks Roxx very cool.

This gives me hope! I made a post here explaining my story and seeing responses like yours makes me feel somewhat better.

Ban’s lifted early for some (I’m finally able to type on the forums again; they had locked us out completely)

The issue here is that the devs actually do care, the CMs do care, but the people in charge of the business aspect just want to see dollar signs. We are nothing but product to their investors. They don’t care how upset we are. They feel pleasure from seeing the tears.

Buying a mount/skin/whatever from one of the packs off the AH and getting banned because the person selling refunded it is not the buyer’s fault, I can agree on that. Bans like that should be reversed.

However it’s 100% on the buyer if they choose to purchase any keys for a game, especially an MMO, on anything that isn’t an official platform.

Same, was locked on everything. I was able to post in General Discussion for a few hours but eventually that privilege was also revoked.

And gold seller spam is the 3rd message I see after logging on, excellent.

Seems like mine has been lifted just now, I was not able to reply or play 5 min ago. They took away my ability to reply earlier too… I really hope you all get your bans/suspensions lifted soon to all the players who are legitimate!

Since i dont know how to post.

Im not supporting this game anymore, this means:

Buying any ingame currencty or service that gives you benefits; crystaline aura, paid skins etc.

I dont like be treated as a criminal and explaining myself all the day getting the same answer.
