sent an appeal in yesterday, no response. sent another one today, got the copy/paste response an hour later saying my suspension was merited and that it would be lifted 3 days from the time it was issued.
logged in 5 minutes later fine, no more suspension, amazing.
I’m not saying the current ban wave is ok, but I am saying that there is a group of people even more wronged. They are not just temporarily locked out of their account, their account will forever be banned despite appeals it seems. I hope that the people affected by the current ban wave can speak up not only for their ban wave situation but for all the unjustly banned players.
You guys seem to be affected by <3 days of being banned out of your account, but there are people who are now going on 12+ days, getting the same bot messages about being a cheater, being commerce locked for refunding when they did nothing like that. They’re just flatout giving up hope on getting their account back at this point. At least with temp bans, if you wait the ban out, even if support doesn’t get back to you, you will be able to get back into your account.

Sent in a ticket right before I got unbanned so I will get to see if I get another bot message about being a cheater that is still banned or if they will just ignore it and pretend nothing happened and everything is fine.
This is what’s scaring me the most! I want to get help for my sake but also want to raise the visibility of the issue as a whole because the scale is so much bigger than I could have imagined till I got hit with a permanent ban as well.

I had also been banned, and oddly enough the ban came out. And now I can post on the forum. I still don’t know what happened.
Did your Steam account update instantly to reflect the ban had been lifted? Or did you just try it and found out it worked?
I saw no indication on Steam’s end that I’d been banned. Checked my public profile and there wasn’t (and still isn’t) any red ‘banned’ letters on it.
The only way I could check was attempt to launch the game, there would be a “you’ve been suspended” notification before you could even see the server list.

I tried this afternoon and it was still banned, now I tried again and the ban is gone.
I am happy to hear you guys got your accounts back. Hopefully I can rejoin you guys in the land of the living sooner than never again. I still can’t believe they are indiscriminately handing out PERMA bans like this. I would have imagined they would have used suspensions first to test the waters or something.
At this point literally all I want to know is what caused the ban and if our accounts are now permanently striked because of their screw up.

Why did you buy the game from G2A and think it was legit? The early launch bundles had a cutoff time where they weren’t sold anymore, and the other packs have set prices that haven’t gone on sale. What enticed you to think you were getting a deal?
Its called not being able to buy it on steam due to your country being locked out even though you can pay the game fine without any vpn’s. Same for amazons store, your not able to buy it from there either. (they even lock your account if you try)
And for the people that went there it wasnt a deal, they paid more then what it would cost on steam.
Also since i see alot of other people crying about g2a not being “legitimate” who are you to decide where people get their keys?

Have played MMORPGs since the days of EverQuest (20+ years) and have never cheated or been banned before. I don’t expect everyone to believe me since you don’t know me, but I’ve never used a macro before, never bought game currency before from anyone or any website, never RMT’d before, never used any kind of auto clickers before, never had a need to stay logged in as my server doesn’t have any log-in queue problems except maybe around evening but I’m up and online before then and already logged in, so I’ve never had a problem.
I was falsely banned and I’m upset that I wasn’t able to post on here because of it and because I have some negative mark / flag against my account when I’m 100% sure I’ve done nothing wrong. I’ve always been polite in chat, never said anything negative, I’ve always been raised to never say anything at all if you don’t have anything good to say.
I’m also upset because it seems my ban appeal was automatically dismissed without even a proper review. I’ve sold some T3 accessories and ability stones on the market, some for a few hundred, some for a couple thousand gold or so over the past few weeks, like ones with good combination (like grudge + cursed doll for example, though I’m not sure if I got that exact combination, don’t remember).
The worst part is, I’m not sure if selling stuff on the market or buying stuff is what flagged anything or if it was something else. Was it the fact that I literally solo grinded infinite chaos dungeon for 8-9 hours’ish straight with only small 5 minute food breaks / bathroom breaks? Some people might not have the stamina for that, but there are definitely many of us capable of the grind so please don’t judge.
Overall I’m very upset at this experience and hope it doesn’t happen again. There are a lot of people complaining on here and pretty sure not all of them are innocent, but I’m willing to believe most of them given I’m going through the same thing and I did absolutely nothing wrong except play the game all day, every day since early access (yes I’m not working right now, yes I don’t have a life, please don’t judge.)

Is there any actual statement on what happen and why over 200k people were unjustly banned and then have the mass ban lifted early? lol are we going to just pretend this never happened and slide it under the rug?
Where’s all the people saying we were rmt’ing now

They were unjustly hit with suspensions/perma bans just like the rest of us.
