You can climb a mountain or you can take a helicopter to the top. Both are viable methods to get to the top.

You say that but⌠I see a Glavier in most of my hard mode Vykas runs on 3 toons each week, many of whom are 1475-1490+. Didnât know everyoneâs lopang alts were clown ready now.
Iâd like to see the main 6 on those rosters.
Probably not popular on your server but NAE I see quite a few Lance masters as well as being a very good critical synergy
There was no hype for arcanist, Everyone i know including myself that was looking to play arcanist played it and now mains it or is planning to swap to it, so many people complained that it was the class that was getting released. glavier had a massive hype train and majority of people who feiton passed her because she was the first class to be released as well as cool looking ended up dropping it.
To be fair Glaivier isnt mediocre, both specs are good.
Its just people dont care about a class being good enough, they are number andys.
Scouter isnt a number andy class, despite how good it is and it even has a ranged counter and shit ton of shields.

Glaivier is a fun class, but itâs a very expensive class (Spec and the most meta engravings) with a below average DPS output (maybe the upcoming buff will be better). If it was cheap and underperforming, sure! I geared a couple alts in that category to 5x3. Or if it was expensive but strong, sure! But it has the worst combo
Most people jumped on Glavier cuz it was the first ânewâ class to be released and people wanted to see whats the fuzz about it. Keep in mind there were tons of people, who werent KR/RU veterans and didnt know every class.
By now people got more experience with the game and probably watched a lot of guides/videos about the upcoming classes. The casual âLets see what´s Lost Arkâ player died out long ago.
For machinist people get what they expect:
A save, easy to gear char, who isnt top of the line damagewise but far from bottom tier. Probably one of the most comfortable choices for bus sales as machinist doesnt need to be too overleveled due to the save and forgiving playstyle.
One class being better than other doesnt mean that the other class suck mr metawhore.
Your comparisons are shitty because of that. There is no mountain to climb, there is no content that is impossible to do with any class nor any content become harder because you are using âxâ class.
Anyway, go watch to your tier list videos, seems like it your thing.
