If selling level 9/10 gem flags you as RMTer and getting banned because these BOT account bought it. Now that Bracer/Bracelet is coming and we all know that it can be sold for more than 200k gold (at least for a good one). What is the guarantee from the Amazonians for players who sell bracelet not getting flagged then “false ban”?
There is legit no guarantee, sadly.
If u sell something u can get banned if RMT money is involved. If ur persisted u will get ur ban lifted. But the gold plus the item will both be gone.
Atleast this is what a guild mate claimed happened to him… i also saw some posts claiming the same tho I guess it’s true?
On the other hand zeals spoiled something along the line that amazonians have something big coming against the bots. Dunno maybe it will get better soon.
I saw the video but its killing me. I really need to know if theres a guarantee of not being falsely banned by the Amazonians. Damn!
I have 5 Aura of Resonance Potions sitting in my product inventory and ready to do 5 Chaos Dungeon with 5 Rest Bonuses. I would sell whatever I get from these runs.
There can never be a guarantee. Just have to live with the fear.
Bots will figure out a way around whatever Amazon develop anyways. If it’s not an extreme drastic measure, it’s prob workaround-able .
Tbh bracelets won’t sell for much - cause u need to roll them anyways and it can be super shit.
I just dgaf about the “false ban” stuff. Sold necklace 120k, earring 100k plus lvl 9 CD gem 120k 3 weeks ago - sitting on 700k gold for reaper atm.
So I sold alot of good accessories never got even touched with a flag warning or anything. I’m not sure but there is the possibility that all these “false ban” claims actually did RMT tho. So I just play the game and until now everything looks fine
You’ll never know what you will get. It might surprise you. But anyways, I hope that whatever Zeals mentioned about BOT problem would clear this fear of getting banned.
Does SG owns EAC? If they dont, they need a better anti-cheat and dump EAC.
SG gave permissions to AGS to manage the NA/EU version of the game so I would assume it was AGS decision to find what kind of anti-cheat they want to use if all the other regions doesn’t use EAC.
Then AGS may have signed an agreement or had some sort of contract with EAC where EAC would be the anti-cheat use for all of AGS games. It’s prob to late or not going to be possible for AGS to move away from EAC at least with Lost Ark unless the new big thing AGS is attempting to do is to move to a new anti-cheat, but botters will find a way to get pass that, too lol.
And this is what I don’t get. EAC gets paid for prevention of cheats. Since week 1 bots are cheating with speed hack and what not. So they don’t do what they are supposed to. My point is if I order a plumper to fix my toilet and it won’t get fixed I fire him and look for a better one. Why can’t ags do this? Or did they sign a stupid contract? It makes no sense to me.
They do, actually. Its really hard to bypass EAC no matter how much the very informed people claim based on their experience playing the game. The problem is that anti cheats are designed to stop your average “eks dee aimbot andy”, not mega bot farms with huge financial incentive. Chances are, whathever game you look at and wonder why they don’t have a massive amount of bots, its more because there isn’t much money to be made there than actual anticheat performance. Its just how it is.
There is a shitton of bots playing PoE. There is a shitton of bots playing Albion. There is a shitton of bots in new world.
Afaik, EAC doesn’t have a good reputation when it comes to their anti-cheat ability then you have the developers behind bot farms that are prob as skilled if not more skilled than those who behind EAC. There are possibly shady corporate level dealings when it comes to contracts/management decisions such as the one that may exist between AGS and EAC or just AGS choosing the cheapest/affordable option vs better anti-cheat option, but anyways in the end it’s just questionable and poor management/leadership decisions from AGS or even all the way to SG where they may not be allocating manpower/resources to develop effective anti-bot measures.
If EAC isn’t doing enough, then it’s up to AGS to step up and enforce effective and extreme measures to counter bots. Everything they done so far has not been super effective and then there is the decision to ignore the extreme methods such as locking servers and etc. Bot farms have more incentive/drive to come up with ways to sustain their livelihood whereas AGS/EAC doesn’t have the motivation/incentive to do more about it since at least AGS is in a position where they have to consider a lot of things to find a balance yet limits them from what they could do.
Why do bots buy accs unless the seller has bought RMT gold generally? Do they re sell that Acc for a higher price, negating they paid pheons for it.
Same with Gems, why would they buy Gems at often above market price, many times over. Like 100k for a Level 3 gem, that also seems odd and likely RMT
Just odd.
