Selling gems is it safe to do so?

I heard about people getting banned for selling LVL 10 gems on AH.
I gamba’d my first LVL 10 got lucky with a damage gem worth around 550k which I could definitely use the gold but don’t want to get banned @Roxx can you confirm if it’s ok to do so? Spent quite a bit on my account legit don’t want to get punished for no reason.
A lot of time investment to get my first LVL 10 aswell.

if you have heard about people being banned you should also have heard them confirm over and over that if you use ah like its intended you wont get banned.

Right but I’ve seen posts about using the ah as intended yet still receiving a ban.
Is selling a LVL 10 gem not using the ah as intended?

i already sold 2 lvl10 gems too, its safe. noworry, i chatted with sup before i sold them aswell

yea, i screenshottet the conversation too but i dont have them anymore because its been a while and i didnt get banned. if u want to be “safe” chat with them, screenshot it and then sell it

You SHOULD be fine.

However on the “rare” chance you do get banned good luck trying to reach any real person with your appeal. Do with that what you will.

You’ll be fine, as long as you are using the Auction House as intended and not to RMT

I have a question. What if you sell a lvl 10 gem in the AH and someone buys it with RMT gold. Can you get banned for that?
Technically, it’s not the seller’s fault that the person who bought his gem has RMT gold.

And its not the sellers fault either if the buyer mails back the gem

Thanks roxx was just curious because t3 LVL 10 DMG does go for 500k+ I’m a returning player and I remember how bad RMT used to be don’t want to get flagged for no reason.
Looks a lot more under control.

We have been selling level 10 gems pretty regularly now, and these posts about getting banned from selling are…I don’t know, well over 6 months ago.

l got a 3 day ban within 24 hours of selling a surge 3 5 ambush ring for 270k. were they related? who knows but it wasn’t during one of those AGS bans half the playerbase by accident fiascos

Possibly but some are anonymous so I don’t see a reason to save face.
You do have a point tho about people denying RMT in general.

last month. they responded to my ticket after the 3 days already elapsed but kept the gold so idk if it was actually for the ring. that was the only weird thing l’ve done pretty much that entire month though

i would have appealed immediately instead of tanking the ban
