Serious Petition to finally remove this 20 Item Listing Limit for our Legit Players

I bussed a couple weeks, waiting for buyers and dealing with undercutters got too boring to bother. The extra gold not worth my time. I also do not swipe, just no life playing. I just dont sell cheap shit. Tripods are hardly 200g, no point to waste listings on. I only bother selling things above 3k gold, unless theyre engravings/stones, then above 500g.

It doesn’t change the fact that limiting players in West servers while the others are not limited isn’t fair in my opinion

Agreed. I’m not saying its fair or should absolutely be kept. Just saying it really does not impact as much as some people pretend it does in this thread

Some tripods go easily for 1k+ I also do not sell cheap ones, since I havent limit for them. Tbh yeah if you sell things only over 3k gold, then I believe you do not hit limit or not often, but in that case you are throwing aways good amount of profit you could have.

As I said, sure there are ways how to not hit the limit, but if those ways results in loosing 50k gold per week, then it is bullshit in my eyes.

Maybe I’m just playing the wrong classes lol. I havent seen a tripod go over 300g in so long.

Idk maybe im losing out on a lot of gold afterall, but I havent had gold issues since i finished tapping stuff to brel 5-6. Ive been in full hoarding for Artist. Still make roughly 100-120k/week. More if lucky drops. It’s low compared to the mass bussers, but I also dont FOMO into going +20 weapons and all that stuff like they do.

I don’t change my gameplay like that because of a limitation put for bots, i just stopped playing and i hope, one day, to come back playing after it’s changed

i would not mind having the limit scale with roster level for example but im just not very convinced about it happening because i get the impression that only a small amount of players is affected by the limit, ive personally only hit the limit once since its introduction as well

The impression is influenced by our personal experience, can we get the data that shows how many players hit the limit daily? And that data is influenced by the fact that the bots are hitting it every time. So there’s no way to really statistically to figure out how many real players hit that limit daily

That’s just pure logic

On most classes you can find tripods for 1k+ on some more on some less  but for sure if you have in roster new ones like Reaper or Summoner, there are lvl 5 tripods which can go for 5k+.

That number you wrote fits, 100-120k per week with limited selling is a bit less than I do, but it is still 40-60k less than I was doing before implementation of limit. You will not have direct gold issues to tap on honing or buy some items. But when you will want for example buy strong gems (lvl 10 DPS mainly) suddenly you miss the gold, or when new class will come out and you would want to get tripods, decent gear, engravings, it will be expensive.

I play in a very active guild/community and the only people who hit the limit are bussers. I have yet to see any of them complain about limit on a day they didnt bus multiple raids.

The population affected by the limit without bussing must be minimal

“must be” minimal, where’s the data to say that? I’m not saying that an high % of the playerbase is affected or a low % of playerbase is affected, i don’t care, because i cannot realistically enstablish that

And btw there’s NO MMO on the makert that has limitations on how many items you can list daily that i know of, LA for now, is the only MMO (in A + EU servers) i know that has listing limitations (on trusted accounts, premium version of the game ecc)

Yeah… i shouldve made one or both. Seeing friends sell tripod at 15k makes me feel like i missed out. But I will make artist, so ill be able to sell tripods there.

True, i just dont bother pushing to that extent. My arti has a lvl 10 barrage, my sorc has full lvl 9 dmg, lvl 10 DD cdr, and the rest have lvl 7s. Same goes for weapon tapping, i just dont chase for that glow/+20.

I will experience it soon with Artist, but I also have over 1mill gold saved up for her tripods/books/honing. Already prebought the accessories. Also probably going to settle on lvl 4 tripods until lvl5 are more affordable.

No data, just anecdotal coming from a very active community on one of the more populated servers.

Anyway the limit will remain, they collected the feedbacks in the last 2 months and they decided to not change it or remove it in the meanwhile, so in my opinion is even useless discussing about it, since we didn’t convince them that was bad before, and we’ll not convince them now in my opinion, we gave explainations in so many threads tbh, there’s nothing else to say

I’ve played a few mmos with limited listings, but they were a bit noname mmos. Usually mmos stick to a simultaneous limit (like the 10 listing in LA), not a daily total one

So from where you stand if it is not impacting enough people, it is not a problem? Even when it is not designed like that to be in game in first place?

With that logic I can say, that disconnects and crashes are not issues, and there is no reason to solve them, because to me and people around me it happens very rarely. Is that right way how to see things?

We know why you and possibly your friends do not hit the limit, if you sell just stuff over 3k gold then you are for sure not trying to minmax your gold income. It is fine, nothing wrong with that and it is up to you. But that still does not mean that such limit should be ingame. As I said, imagine to have it 1 item per character, then I would like to see how community react.

Guild Wars 2 has no limits, there are APIs for the market (public made available by ArenaNet) and websites built for the purpose of flipping (with infos on Supply, Demand, sold, bought etc) all complaint with ToS

You can even create your API key from the ArenaNet website on your profile to decide which data to share on a website and know how much profit you made from flipping, i mean, it is what it is

Gw2 has many many things I wish this game took notes on lol… namely account wide cosmetics, the dye system, no maintenance downtimes, region hopping, the API, the extensive wiki integrated into the game… but western mmos are just built differently than KR ones it seems.

I dont think the limit is warranted. It shouldnt be there. I am just saying it probably affects fewer people than represented, so it will probably keep being ignored until it starts negatively impacting a bigger portion of the playerbase. I dont think they care if it bothers bussers, but thats my opinion.

Unfortunately that could be right assumption, still I do not think it is correct way. Maybe we will find out with Ancient gear when there will be big demand so also many people will want to sell more stuff.
