i play the game since it released and i never got this error…
and i never used a VPN. Tried resetting DNS. Tried verifying game files. Tried unlink/link amazon account from Steam. Tried the TLS 1.2 registry edit. Tried specifying different DNS servers.
and still got the same error

Please make sure to have the DxDiag ready once you reach support, you can pull it following this steps:
DxDiag report:
Go to Windows Start search bar and type dxdiag.
Click on dxdiag.exe.
When green progress bar goes away, select Save All Information and save the file to their desktop.
