@Roxx @TrevzorFTW if we will make a petition, and we will have like a LOT ppl signed under this petition - is there a chance that you as AGS team will take this under consideration? Literally no one likes our version of shadowhunter…

and u do know that we have different demon form than any other region right? our version is completly black which makes is extremly hard to see it. whenever i watch atk and i see the white air so u can check where ur character is im getting really envy ngl. stupid change imo

The name/skin changes that are made and implemented in game, why can’t they take a vote base on majority of players playing in NA server instead of jus a few of their crew? lol doesn’t make sense.

Oh yeah, every time i switch to demon form my character disappears from screen and a second later valtan grabs me and kicks me off the platform :sweat_smile:
Do i like the change in our version? No, not at all…
Would i like to costumize demonform? Hell Yeah!!

But seeing people stating things like:

According to AGS

  • Demon = BAD
  • White ppl ≠ BAD
  • Black ppl = BAD
    So, Demon = Black

I think you might have issues. The character when changed to demon form is dark BLUE. Why are you bringing race into this?

I think you are missing the point, in the Korean version when changed to demon form you turn pale white with white hair. So my original character, whichever skin tone I picked to resemble whichever race, has to turn into pale white to get demon form abilities. So if I was a gaming ‘‘journalist’’ I could make the claim that “you have to turn Caucasian to gain demon form abilities”. They wanted to avoid that hence you turn BLUE altogether, which to them is unassociated with any race/ethnicity, lore be damned. Of course by the same game journalist logic there are people suffering from methemoglobinemia/cyanosis that may be deeply offended.

I mean they changed it coz they didn’t wanna whitewash Black characters when turing to demon form.

Korea is working on making it so we can customize our demon forms whatever that will entail. (Koreans barely play SH due to being stuck as the same demon form all the time)

Loa summer is soon so check that out, might get an update or sneak peek like we did the warrior’s new body.

I mention this because we seem to get QoL stuff pretty quickly after they do.

Just wanted to share some update on how KR’s new Shadowhunter Demon form is like :

This thread made by OP “ovenmonkeygaming” found a streamer that showcased this change in her twitch clips.

  • Visual change to the model when transformed to demon form
  • Can now do emotes while in transformed state (current version doesn’t allow it)
  • Skill visual got a facelift too

This is an old report, but this is the reason for shadowhunter’s demon form being so awful and different from the rest of the world…

The reasoning is completely lame…
