Shadowhunter looks bad this response is unacceptable

I know there are people who claim this to be true and there are shitty managers all over the world. Amazon is not one giant borg like entity. It’s filled with individuals and a lot of those individuals are assholes, giant ones. A lot of them have power in Amazon yes, but the idea that Amazon is ubiquitous and homogenous machine that is forcing people to be slaves is just not true. Warehouse work is hard work, some people can do it others cannot.

How do I know because I’m lazy as fuck I wouldn’t be able to cut it either. That’s not because Amazon is trying to work me to hard, its because I’m lazy as fuck and I don’t want to work that hard. People do a FUCKTON lot harder work in the world and people are complaining about not being able to fill enough boxes fast enough. Just like people are making claims that AGS is some how cramming a woke agenda down their throats because they can’t play their video game without some pixels being a different color than they want. And instead of blaming the developer who implemented the shitty code they blame the publisher for making a request that would THEY thought would make the game sell better.

Guess what there are racial problems in the US and being conscientious to them is a good business decision. It’s a also a good thought that people are starting to consider that white people aren’t the only ones who matter even when they are the majority, overwhelming or not. They are also considering that there are likely female gamers that don’t want to have their boobs hanging out all the time too. It’s not about race or gender, its about inclusion. Its about representation for ALL. So yeah if that is their Woke agenda its because it reaches the most people AKA most sales. You still played so they lost nothing by making these changes.

Lol, what?

Is that what you think is happening?

What? Anti-white racism? The only people who would think this are thinking this is a zero sum game and that including more people means that white people are losing something. We’re not.

Inclusion is a net gain to all.

I’m not sure when the words you/I became they/us because you certainly do not speak for “white people”. I have seen first hand the effects of the current race related issues here in America and it’s certainly not limited to “inclusion”. Just because you don’t feel or experience the issue does not eliminate it’s existence. I don’t get many racist slurs or experiences as an individual of color but do you see me negating the existence of those things or speaking on behalf of an entire race/group of people? No, because it’s illogical and intentionally disingenuous and you know it.

That’s because we’re not being honest about it. So have I. I saw the red-neck right wingers trucks with no plates driving into town for the GF protests.

Like this guy:

There were a lot of people around like him during the “race riots”

Or Umbrella man…the biker that is part of Bob KKKroll’s crew.

First they have to create the problem… Now we have to wait for the solution, hope it doesnt take too much time like Lego skins.

I hope you don’t include me in your “we” and I hope that you try to understand the seriousness of current political and social issues as they stand before commenting on them in an uninformed manner, for your own sake as it’s important to be aware of what’s happening in the world you live in. Best of luck to you, I should be back later if you want to continue the conversation but need to go handle some business atm. Good day.

Skin color is not the problem, is the ugly shadow/bloob/hue/saturation (or whatever it is ) they made on top of the character.

I wouldnt mind purchasing skins with a diferent form of “Demonification” it doesn’t have to show skin color at all, but would like to apreciate others demonic forms without “that” thing in the way.

You can see other Delains (history) they shine in red but don’t have that lingering shadow around them. unless AGS thinks that our Delain(Assasin) Class is a Diferent Race.

Ok Fine, they did it that way, and we have to live with it… We can’t demand Lore Concistency when we saw the white Skin Luterra Neria on the Witcher Collab.

In the future, more options for transformations would be welcomed.

Yeah actually the combo of this with the grey skin is what makes it look like a dark blob. It wouldn’t be a problem if they just changed nothing. It also didn’t help that for the first week or two AGS just straight up lied about the reasoning behind the change. Everytime we actually did get an answer as to why it was changed it was some different incoherent statement “having light skin gives you a pvp advantage.” This did not exactly make people happy with the answer plus it makes no sense within the lore plus it just looks awful. Literally all the arguements for not changing it are better than the beyond stupid reason that it was changed. Idk tho could just put up a dlc pack to use the original then people would stop bumping these posts for as long as the dcs have been a thing.

For some reason my comment was flagged as “inappropriate” i really don’t know why lmao, i guess i have a lot of haters here.

I mean the reason is irrelevant they could say: We did the change because we wanted to do it and thats valid, it’s their game.
It is also valid to don’t like the reason or the change too c:

My scouter also looks like that

They should still just give people the option to use the one that you personally like, that would solve all the problems with it and has been suggested many times. Like you said it’s pretty valid to not like it that’s why you see all the people arguing over the can’t see my character type thing, these are reasons as to why we don’t want to look at it but as someone who plays one as my second highest ilvl character I am forced to see how awful their change looks everyday and want the option to have the original. (which doesn’t look like quite so much like a fat turd)

Bumping!!

hello

Hello there voice in the wilderness…

When the shadow engulfs me, I am left in darkness… A poem comes to mind, Lord Byron…

I had a dream, which was not all a dream.

The bright sun was extinguish’d, and the stars

Did wander darkling in the eternal space,

Rayless, and pathless, and the icy earth

Swung blind and blackening in the moonless air;

Morn came and went—and came, and brought no day,

And men forgot their passions in the dread

Of this their desolation; and all hearts

Were chill’d into a selfish prayer for light:

And they did live by watchfires—and the thrones,

The palaces of crowned kings—the huts,

The habitations of all things which dwell,

Were burnt for beacons; cities were consum’d,

And men were gather’d round their blazing homes

To look once more into each other’s face;

Happy were those who dwelt within the eye

Of the volcanos, and their mountain-torch:

A fearful hope was all the world contain’d;

Forests were set on fire—but hour by hour

They fell and faded—and the crackling trunks

Extinguish’d with a crash—and all was black.

The brows of men by the despairing light

Wore an unearthly aspect, as by fits

The flashes fell upon them; some lay down

And hid their eyes and wept; and some did rest

Their chins upon their clenched hands, and smil’d;

And others hurried to and fro, and fed

Their funeral piles with fuel, and look’d up

With mad disquietude on the dull sky,

The pall of a past world; and then again

With curses cast them down upon the dust,

And gnash’d their teeth and howl’d: the wild birds shriek’d

And, terrified, did flutter on the ground,

And flap their useless wings; the wildest brutes

Came tame and tremulous; and vipers crawl’d

And twin’d themselves among the multitude,

Hissing, but stingless—they were slain for food.

And War, which for a moment was no more,

Did glut himself again: a meal was bought

With blood, and each sate sullenly apart

Gorging himself in gloom: no love was left;

All earth was but one thought—and that was death

Immediate and inglorious; and the pang

Of famine fed upon all entrails—men

Died, and their bones were tombless as their flesh;

The meagre by the meagre were devour’d,

Even dogs assail’d their masters, all save one,

And he was faithful to a corse, and kept

The birds and beasts and famish’d men at bay,

Till hunger clung them, or the dropping dead

Lur’d their lank jaws; himself sought out no food,

But with a piteous and perpetual moan,

And a quick desolate cry, licking the hand

Which answer’d not with a caress—he died.

The crowd was famish’d by degrees; but two

Of an enormous city did survive,

And they were enemies: they met beside

The dying embers of an altar-place

Where had been heap’d a mass of holy things

For an unholy usage; they rak’d up,

And shivering scrap’d with their cold skeleton hands

The feeble ashes, and their feeble breath

Blew for a little life, and made a flame

Which was a mockery; then they lifted up

Their eyes as it grew lighter, and beheld

Each other’s aspects—saw, and shriek’d, and died—

Even of their mutual hideousness they died,

Unknowing who he was upon whose brow

Famine had written Fiend. The world was void,

The populous and the powerful was a lump,

Seasonless, herbless, treeless, manless, lifeless—

A lump of death—a chaos of hard clay.

The rivers, lakes and ocean all stood still,

And nothing stirr’d within their silent depths;

Ships sailorless lay rotting on the sea,

And their masts fell down piecemeal: as they dropp’d

They slept on the abyss without a surge—

The waves were dead; the tides were in their grave,

The moon, their mistress, had expir’d before;

The winds were wither’d in the stagnant air,

And the clouds perish’d; Darkness had no need

Of aid from them—She was the Universe.

I am Shadowhunter…
