It’s not “changes”, it’s alternative skins for transformation classes, and considering AGS’ track records so far, I’m not looking forward to them either.

This is all a hypothetical argument in the first place. It requires to basically not listen to anything AGS has actually officially said and make up a narrative of your own to work.

This is not true, every version uses the same character creator with the same options available, except that our version has a handful of different presets (that can still be made in the other versions) as well as our versions not having all the different hairstyles yet.

This makes no sense since all the versions use the same character-creation tools, and KR, JP, nor Russia have this issue of not being able to recognize the transformation in PvP.

But, what this change did bring, which other versions don’t have an issue with, because our version is the only one with this change, is SHs in our version having a hard time spotting their character inside the new raid:

Amazon’s CMs keep making excuses that are not true nor make sense, but the reality is, that the change has undeniable, real, negative gameplay impacts.

Meanwhile, the CM makes it out to be a monumental task to have a single texture file be changed via DLC:

Dazu kommt dann auch die Frage, wie einfach sowas wirklich ist, denn was programmieren geht in vielen Fällen, dauert aber meistens wesentlich länger als gedacht, braucht Tests etc. und dahinter steht auch die Frage, lohnt sich denn der Aufwand im Moment.

It is very simple:

You get the texture file for the SH transformation (as easy as opening one of the many LPK.files in your lost ark folder), you change the skin color into w/e skin color you want (anyone with photoshop can do this), and you make sure the game doesn’t replace the file again (just like you do with just about any new patch), boom, there you go, a client-side only fix for the SH change, that doesn’t affect any other player’s ability to recognize SH’s transformation in PvP, because only the person with the changed file can see it because it works just like any other client-side change, like changing your language. It is so easy, in fact, that I’d do it for you, AGS, completely free of charge, all you have to do is push it out with the next patch.
