i mean with their current logic of “our version is different because we can be”
they destroy their argument of pheons having to remain in the game as it’s integrated across all regions.
NA/EU is the only region who has to deal with a racism filter.

- Game is heavily focused on visuals.
- Change said visuals.
- Visuals are also buggy.
- People get mad.
- Let the frustation boil for an entire week.
- Since said changes touches on skin color, get scared of being more personal about the issue.
- Hide behind corporate anonymity to talk about the issue.
- Disregard player frustration
- Disregard player option
- Disregard the bugs
- Just say: “Yeah our version is different, deal with it”
And I’m not totally sure, but and I may be wrong, but I get the feeling other versions of the game have the same range of skin tones to choose from when creating their characters. If true, then yeah AGS kinda lied… Again.
And let’s not forget, this is AGS suposedly trying to do a better job at communicating.

That’s how they constantly deal with changes regarding the shadow hunter. Lies, censorship and bans. They don’t want to talk about it, they don’t want others to talk about it. it’s funny how uncomfortable they were with this topic yet despite that they chose to do it again. And this time they had a easy way out and just give us the same patch that the korean, russian and japanese version got.

Their response was roxx banning people, waiting a week, then posting from “official news” account to avoid their name being attached to the announcement.

No. This was made clear many times already. I don’t know why this is still a question…
AGs cms get our feedback, then after a selective process, their higher ups get some of it. After an even more selective process and many changes, SG gets AGS’ feedback.
This is how it works with a community/publisher/developer relationship and it’s not unique to this game/company. It’s just very prominent here.

Would highly suggest people to message lostark@smilegate.com / info@smilegate.com regarding this. They(AGS) clearly have no intention to even mention the outcry about this to them.
It’s their game afterall, they do care even if AGS doesn’t… Also guys don’t forget to throw a review on steam. I can’t tell you what to write, but If you’re unhappy with the product rate accordingly.
My review has been negative since the pheon fiesta, it’s crystal clear where their intentions and priorities lie and you can be sure i won’t support that

No one likes it but companies keep pushing it even though they’re failing left and right, losing millions(1.5b in the case of Disney) of dollars… I don’t know what wave of crazy is going around, but I can say for sure that as a Black-Asian, I never asked for this kind of “representation”.
