Does this mean that we can trade existing shards from character to character if I’m reading this right?
“Shards” must be the currency you get from 2+ chaos dungeon. They are already rooster bound. I think they just clarified that we can give them to alts to exchange.
I think I read it wrong at first too, some one else corrected me. I think they are just clarifying that you can still trade the exchange materials dropped from endless chaos to alts so they can buy items / mats still. looks like people beat me to it above
Actually after re-reading your thing I think you are right, I don’t do inifinite that often but i guess they are called shards too.
I thought they were talking about like exchanging harmony/life shards w/ other toons
You could always trade the shards - they’ve been Roster Bound from Day 1. So you could take your Damage class, farm shards and shovel them to your Support who then bought “stuff”.
But at least with accessories you (or any bot) could sell them, if they didn’t like them.
So… accessories for alts… better get lucky with them purchases…
Edit: Well, that’s weird. T1 & T2 materials did always bind on purchase. T3 materials did not. Maybe they’ll just change T3 materials, maybe they’ll change accessories too.
Isn’t this update saying they will make it character bound…? meaning the bots can’t sell stuff from infinite chaos…?

This part stays the same since they are already bound.
Skipping the part of who thinks it will kill botting please, I know everyone each has their opinion on it, but from my understanding from Vern, they just run the infinite chaos and sell T1 mats all the time.
If they are going to make the materials bound, then they need to make the vendor reset per character, and not have it account wide. Just like it is in T1 and T2.
I can no longer sell the items from the vendor to buy the stuff I need for my alts. This is massively limiting. I used to be able to sell and buy as I need. The problem is I am in need of GHLS and not the other crap. I used to be able to sell the other crap and buy GHLS. Now I am losing my capacity to buy GHLS because of the incremental increase for each purchase as those increases are not character bound.
I could do a lot of things. It has nothing to do with the other crap I can do, it has to do with the fact they are limiting us and not giving any compensation for what they are taking away. They have already took things with out actually giving us anything in return. They keep taking because they fail at stopping bots, but they do not give any way to regain those resources that we lost.
