Since Amazon and SLG decided to westernize LA for the EU/NA launch, created sorceress for that,opposite genders....how come the most west "traditional" assassin class is not on launch?

Reaper. Im an assasssin class player in every mmo ive played, i have also played the RU version when it launched stopped after few months came back for reaper to try out because the other assassins didnt feel like the typical assassin you except to be…fast,mobilty,stealth,squishy,blink to enemy,poison this is what reaper is and the way i except a assassin to be. Instead we get the clunky and safe (alot of cc immu) assassin and a range/melee assassin that transforms into a vampire.

Whos decision was that ? Amazon or Smilegate ? Afterall you guys created the censorship on costumes, made npcs different, smilegate created opposite genders (Gunslinger,Striker) that you even put on our launch because “West” likes that but didnt put the most played “traditional” assassin class in every mmo that westerners touch followed by the “traditional” mage class sorceress ?
Im also reading alot of “leaks” regarding sorceress on launch if you going to do that, reaper should also be on that if you think u made the mistake not putting the
traditional classes for western players.

For the other players reading this please dont look at this “muh he doesnt get his class” its not only about that, they talked about how much they wanted to westernize the game for us and they are literally doing it just a bit way to much (Censorship),putting literally the same character just the opposite gender, but they dont think that Reaper and sorceress would be like the most sought after for Assassin,Mage players for western people?

Maybe i can understand sorceress because “new” but reaper that is already like one and half years out?

And for the guys who play assassin classes in mmos who would you of picked if all three were on release and all are on the same page balance wise?

I agreed with your desire to have the class you want to play.

But in this game we already have for now 2 classes assassin, both DPS, the Death Blade it’s amazing after lvl 40.

In the Mage’s class we have a supporter and some kind o summoner/DPS, but not a real Sorceress/Wizard.

Saying those things, I will conclude my opinion with the fact that exist an insanely amount of people who prefers Sorceress to Assassins, and by Strategic Business Move, if they officially announce the Sorceress Class, for now, it will be in my opinion the right Business move, because in 22 of December the sorceress will be release in RU Server, and the hype of the last class release in Korea, in Russia and probably here, will be excellent because of the big fa-base sorceress has and the indirect ads all the other regions still giving to the sorceress.

Destroyer/Arcana/Lancer/Scout/Reaper/Sorceress is not out of the game, they will be included a few months later probably, but now, AGS is probably using the better tools they have now, which is the free ads all the sorceress is doing right now without they need to do anything.

It’s just a business move, and this business move is focused on a large fa-base of the mage class.

And just you understand how lost ark is, this game in Korea right now has 21 classes and if I am not mistaken, the less playable class in PvP is the Reaper, they called it Trash Can, for many YouTubers streamers and famous ones, because they are not paying by anyone, they can say what they think, and I think the Reaper is the bottom line of less playable class in PvE.

It’s to that you choose the wrong class, is simply how things are in Lost Ark, there are so many classes that make the Reaper not be appealing.

In my resume, I am not criticizing you, or your class, is just how things normally are in Lost Ark.

In my personal opinion, they will in the future, re-launch the Repear, in my opinion, they will start over this class.

But then they shouldnt come here with how they want to westernize the game for us if they are not adding the “traditional” classes regarding how they perform in pve or pvp ? What about hawkeye, blaster and so on.
I dont know it will depend on which mmo you played the ones i played assassin and mage were always on par regarding popularity.

The only business move here is they know Reaper is the typical assassin class and more ppl will switch to it when its gets released so they can milk more cash ? Im damn sure half of the blade/demonic players are just lance and reaper mains in disguise.

Demonic i can understand she looks unique but there is no place for blade if the class “Reaper” is in the pool to appeal the assassin mains. I know that reaper is bottom tier in PvP but wasnt there a balance adjustment coming to korea soon that we will get in our version too and something like this shouldnt affect who gets into the game or not. I will rather play the class i have fun with and appeals to my style then checking the tier list, and especially in this game where PvP is equalized where i can just create a different class to pvp if that is the big concern.

If i could make a poll with all the players that are interestend in those “fast melee” class with these four “Lance,Reaper,Demonic,Blade” while every one of them is viable in PvP&PvE you can be sure Lance and Reaper will be on top.

I think for every mmo player the 5 classes i listed bottom is the stable classes for every mmo that gets released.

Warrior = Berserker / Mage = Sorceress / Assassin = Reaper / Fighter = Scrapper / Range = Hawkeye

I will say my opinion on this that you wrote.

Exactly. Games with 5 classes are typically normal and fair to have some kind of balance the class they prefer.

But 15 to 16 at launch and 21 in the following month, and now Korea will show 2 or 4 new classes in 18 of December, becoming 23 to 25 classes for now, and more to come.

In this scenario, is normal to be a huge difference in the classes people are playing.

And sorry, I do not agree with the Death Blade Class. I played as a Destroyer for a long time, and a few months ago I use the Akrasia Express event to level up a Death Blade, the class is amazing extreme DPS, insanely amount of high DPS AoE Skills, fast, and looks like you are playing an easy mode in Lost Ark, but is just class preference, you do not agree with me and me as the same to you.

if the Sorceress will not be released at the launch of the game, Death Blade will be my Main class, wining the spot from Destroyer and Lancer. Death Blade for me just loses the spot for Sorceress, because like you, every game I ever played if it the class exist Mage/Sorceress/Wizard/Warlock, I was there.

But you cant tell me atleast that if you never played any of the three assassin classes and saw only their skillsets and videos that you wouldnt think Reaper is the one that looks and plays the most familiar to an assassin class when you compare them to other mmos ? With their stealth,mobility,poison,squishiness,blinks ?

Yes everyone has their preference to which style he likes the most im not saying that blade or demonic is trash, just if there is one assassin class to choose from that should be on the release its reaper just looking at the skillset and gameplay wise beeing familiar with other assassin classes from other mmo’s. I dont want to look now how others compare just that in a fresh mmo a class like Sorceress & Reaper is a must have before all the other classes.

This is why im also kinda upset beeing always an assassin player in mmo’s that im not getting the class where i would be getting it on every other mmo i would play. But yea it doesnt help that i had 5 classes in my mind if a situation like this is going to happen that 4 of them wont be on launch lol (Lance,Reaper,Scouter,Sorceress) and the last one on the list i had in mind was striker from all the 5 i listed and striker beeing my last option from the 5 ;/

This game is different.

Maybe you and I choose another class in the future, sometimes even you prefer that class and me too, because of the huge amount of classes and playstyles, maybe we are playing with different classes in the future, in my class, I have already done this one time another class over Destroyer/Lancer for Death Blade, maybe this occurs in the future to another class.

The only thing i can atleast hope for is that all the classes get released before T3 or else it will really be sh…y thing to do from amazon, atleast i and others can still easily swap to our mains but after T3 i would literally not have the motivation to play if my desired char is not here yet and i lose months of progress…

Demonic just because she looks super cool! the animations of that class are amazing that i would play it even if it wasn’t as strong as other classes.

The only thing that really matters is that they release all existing classes BEFORE T3. Until then it is going to be really easy to change main character. Horizontal progression is now more important than gear farming. When we get to T3, that’s when we can start focusing on 1 class.
