What’s the point of roster skin storage when every skin I open on any class is bound to this specific class e.g warrior/mage etc. If its roster bound shouldn’t it be available for every class?

This game is overly complicated with skins.
Each character has a base class, and an advanced class.
Some skins are tied to base class, some are tied to specific advanced class.
So if you have a Roster Bound “Mage” skin, you can pass it between a Bard, Sorceress, Arcanist or Summoner.
If you have a Roster Bound “Sorceress” skin … you can only pass it between characters if you have multiple Sorceresses.
The skins are primarily based on character model type. They don’t automatically ‘fit’ a different type. A developer has to create a similar-looking style outfit for each base model. The ones with advanced class restrictions are just extra exclusive and designed to be thematic for a specific advanced class.
Beyond that, skins gotten with Blue Crystals from the shop are Character Bound in addition to having a class restriction. So those would be untradeable period.

Only thing I could read when I was opening the skins was “Bound to roster when obtained” so how can I tell if the skins which were basically the free skins we have gotten along with prime gaming event etc. One skin which was the colorful ears had class variants to choose from so I knew what i was getting from it.

I never mention a character bound skins from item shop. Guess why. Because it tells you it’s character bound and not roster bound on them.
