It was confirmed by a German cm but then walked back by Roxx saying it’s uncertain and will be in the monetization update. It’s probably safe to assume the German cm slipped up early and it right but until it’s in stone it’s anyone’s guess.
Roxx confirmed it binds when you equip it in this post.
And in this post (much more recent) she confirms tradeability is still up in the air. There is NOT consistent messaging on this topic and I don’t know why people keep pretending there is.

Yeah exactly. It’s actually pretty bad considering this outfits limitedness is understandably a DEFINING factor on whether or not some people may or may not want to buy the platinum pack. @Roxx c’mon, it’s 3 days until release
Agreed wholeheartedly. It has me thinking some conspiracy thoughts like they were gunna be account bound, and they saw people didn’t want that and are working quickly to change it. Then they arent gunna confirm one way or another til theu figure out if they can change it in time. Again full conspiracy hat on there though.
What makes you think that these skins can be sold… The site clearly says “A special skin exclusive to Platinum Founders”.
If they are tradable, then this is misleading the founders.

I really wouldn’t count in the platinum skin being tradeable. If it is then just surprise bonus.
I believe the NLM are tradeable up to 3 times if I remember correctly from Roxxs post

How do you not understand what ‘Bind to character once equipped means?’ Your just trying to see what you want to see. Every MMO in the history of ever makes a bound item untradeable once equipped. Roxx cleary says it binds once equipped. Dev’s have stated it’s ‘Exclusive’ to founders.

Im pretty sure they will be tradeable, but you wont be able to buy them using royal crystals ever again only on funderspacks

I understand this as “Only Platinum Founders can have it”.
If that’s not the case, what’s the point of buying a pack when I can buy the costume at auction?

‘Purchase this exclusive Platinum skin for $132 (aud) now or buy it in game for $15 soon’, do people not even see the backlash this would cause. They may not even be able to do it as they are advertising it as ‘Exclusive’ and ‘Bind on equip’ which if it became tradeable it would not satisfy those definitions and would be breaking the law for false advertising.

It is exclusive to that pack, but that dosn’t mean it can’t be traded, to me the “exclusive” part its that you can’t get that same skin somewhere else unless you buy it from someone who already bought the founders pack that being said FP’s skins will cost a lot of gold cuz there will be alimited ammount of it (And since you can only trade them 3 times they will be less and less of them in the shop with time which means it will cost even more)

And how do you not understand what "I don’t have word on tradability yet, will keep you posted when this is locked down. " means? So something is going to bind to me but still potentially be tradable? Its almost like their messaging on several things has been inconsistent. If you look back they also said “NO DX11 at launch” And we are having DX11 at launch. Its almost like things can change and this, according to their more recent wording, is potentially one of those things that will.
Edit: I’m not speaking in absolutes about this either like you are, seems you are more sure than the CMs themselves on the topic.
